Do you guys make hi-output alternators for 07 Suzuki Reno? If so how much would the cost be? and what size would you recommend. Im only running two amps kicker zx1000.1 (100amp fuse) and a Eclipse EA4200 (30amp fuse). Thanks

i might be getting a 2005 ford ranger 4.0 and i want to make sure i can get a high output alt for it before i do buy it, on DC's website it doesn't even have a listing for a 05 ranger but i figured i would ask you guys here if there are any options, preferably a DC alt, im looking for the highest amperage i can get, which going by there normal alts would be like 250-270 amps. thanks guys!

I'm looking for a lower alternator for my F250. Mine didn't come from the factory with duals, but I'm hoping to find the bracket and add it. Also, I've noticed my alternator doesn't start charging right away. It usually takes 30sec to 1 minute or even long before I see 14+ volts. I heard this is because of the glowplugs. Do you know exactly why? Also, I was told, I couldn't hook up a second alternator unless I got my PCM reflashed to properly supply turn on power for the alternator. But I figured I could get a new plug and tie into the original alternators wiring. I basically need to know what to do here. I sure don't want to mess anything up. So a quote on a lower altern…

Ive got my factory 130 amp alt and i also have my 270xp (which is currently installed) however im wanting to run dual alts. my question is are the xp's self exciting? or whats need to wire up my factory oem 130 amp and my dc power 270xp..

Hey guys, I have a 2000 gmc Sierra with the 5.3, I was wondering if I get the dual alt get could I run a factory alt as the second one. Will the bolt holes line up correctly and would that Change the belt tension or anything like that? instead of one of yours for a couple months. I'm low on cash and have a spare oem alternator. And once I get more money saved up, get a 250xp or something of the sort. Thanks! looking forward to doing business with you!

I have an 09 silverado crewcab v8 thats about to go form 3k to 6k so i think its time to upgrade the charging system. DC has so many options im a little lost. i currently have my factory battery and a deka 9a31, going to add another group 31 in the back with the amp. how much alternator do i need with 2 group 31s and a large OEM starting batt?

Okay so I ordered and installed the dual alternator kit on my 2008 tahoe. The install only took about 2 hours which wasn't bad. ***THERE WERE NO INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED WITH THE KIT ANYWHERE*** I did call the number and got some limited assistance. The person I talked to, Stan helped the best he could but gave me no 100% sure answers... so I'm left with some questions. Just wondering why the price point between the 270 Amp SP and 250 Amp XP is so large. I don't understand why I would pay $120 more for the same output at idle and 20 amps LESS at max. I know the XP has some different internals, but is it really worth the extra change?
