Bought a Denso alternator from alternatorparts.com. It's a 220 amp unit part number N1ERIF220. I need a small v-belt pulley and nut for it. The pulley I have on it is slightly bigger than the serpintine one that came with it.

Old Shop: alright... so here's the new shop being moved into. Still a mess but we're getting there! We should be good for hopefully... a year or more haha.

So who over at DC can update me on the status of my order? It is the 270XP for the Lexus RX that was ordered around the 8th of August. It was supposed to be "2 weeks" before I heard something and still nothing. I just want to get an update since i havent heard anything..

Since I am the one who heads up product development here at DC Power, I would like to get some input from the members here about products you guys are looking for that we may/may not already have.. I think we are more known as a "high priced" manufacturer because that's what our specialty is, building the biggest, baddest, meanest alternators you can get.. Do you guys make hi-output alternators for 07 Suzuki Reno? If so how much would the cost be? and what size would you recommend. Im only running two amps kicker zx1000.1 (100amp fuse) and a Eclipse EA4200 (30amp fuse). Thanks

I Accidentally left my carputer on last night. When i started my car the XP wasn't making my engine happy charging the batteries up at full load. Anyways, this is what happens when the 270XP loads down a 4 cylinder's engine at idle. It takes 20 seconds for the computer to actually realize what's going on and adjust for the load compensation. The alternator in this car idles at 2,000 alternator RPMs. 500 alternator RPMS LESS than the competition. It's rated to do 180 amps or so at this RPM. It takes power to make power. This proves it.

Was wondering if you guys make a triple or quad kit for a 2007 and up 5.3 gm/chevy? I got a 2007 suburban and looking to do more than just a dual kit.

Since me and Kyle have the same car.. we've known about this for a while... hehe. this summer, i'm goin at it again and need to know which route i am going to take due to timeframe.. I will need my new alt upgrade sometime this summer... Preferrably within the next 2-3 months to be honest. For that timeframe, have u guys been able to figure out, or be able to test the dual 320HPs or is that out of the question? I know the 270xp is in play.. and i know the 390xp is as well.. So, of the 3, which am i looking at for best option this summer? And you know me.. i run more power than what i can fit in this car...lol

Just wondering why the price point between the 270 Amp SP and 250 Amp XP is so large. I don't understand why I would pay $120 more for the same output at idle and 20 amps LESS at max. I know the XP has some different internals, but is it really worth the extra change?

any one know whats going on with them? i have tried emailing, calling and leaving a message and haven't gotten a response back. i ordered my alt over 2 months ago and was told it was going to ship over a month ago by robbie and still no alt. i have tried every way of contacting them trying to figure out a status but haven't got a response. at the beginning of this purchase i had great communication with them and now it seems theyve dropped off the map. and my first attempt of contacting them april 30th and i have tried contacting them through out the past 2 1/2 weeks as well. i think i have been more than patient. now i don't want to hear remember theres a time difference…

ok i have a 2002 dodge dakota 3.9L and i noticed that they just added alts for my truck (very happy about that by the way!) anyways, im currently running an AQ1200D, i did the "big 3" and i have a kinteic HC2000 under the hood, now in the spring i plan on buying another 1200D and strapping them, and as it is, with the headlights on i get voltage drops to the low 13's. the 2 alts im looking at are https://www.dcpowerinc.com/13874-180-hp.html and https://www.dcpowerinc.com/13874-170-oem.html now i dont see much difference in the 2 except a 10 amp difference and a 60 dollar difference (and the cheaper one puts out 10 more amps) so my question is, which should i get, and wou…

What brand of belt do you guys recommend using with the 270 xp? I put on a new gates belt and i have slipping on a cold start (less than a second). When the engine is warm it doesn't slip. I have tightened the belt up a few times...seems to help a first but is this because the belt is new and still stretching?

I got a 230xp series alt with a case to fit a 4.0L 1997 jeep wrangler, I have someone interested in buying it but they have a 1998 dodge durango with a 5.2L. Will it directly bolt on? If not, how much are case swaps? Thanks, Stefan

got a 380 amp alt form kyle within the last few weeks and have been nothing but impressed with this company. very honest and great customer service. these guys are the real deal. had an issue with my wiring. took care of it no questions asked. definately looking into replacing my mechman with a dc unit. cant wait to get my install in and let this beast do its job. pics can be found in the link.

Hi Guys, Bought a 270xp alt from you guys for a 4.0L 1997 jeep wrangler, sold the jeep, got a 2002 volvo v40 wagon, 1.9L inline 4. Do you guys have cases that fit the volvo?
