Mark and I did some changes to the forum, ~~~ we added the google adsence banner at the top which will hopfully direct more people to the forum via the Google searches ~~~ we cleaned up the links on the main page (Main Page) ~~~ the team link goes straight to the Team forum ~~~ i wrote a new welcome paragraph that mentions SI, SS, and PB ~~~ i cleaned up the server a little and got rid of old images that we were not using, or had not used in months ~~~ nick was kind enough to hook us up with a few more emoticons, so I just uploaded them to the folder, I will post a new topic in the emitocons topic hope you guys like it, just trying to keep SSA the place to be and runnin…

Due to the recent news of the forum going down I blurbed this.... This is a very sad day. I have been a member and supermod on Fordexplorer.net for well over 4 years. I was one of the first regular members there, Soko and Jesse brought me over to run the Stereo and Performance sections. It was probably in its peak about 18 months ago. Then traffic started to die off and divert to other boards, I am not going to be able to put my finger on the exact reason, but I know all the childish bickering and crap really hurt the board. I am getting an ebay/internet car audio store started up in a week or two, that is, if everything goes according to plan. Anyways, I was thinking. I needed input on this. Would anyone be interested or think its a good idea to do a raffle? just set up an RSS feeds site/forum to help out with SEO of our forum here. Also taking advantage of the new SEO options built into the new software. We basically set up a forum on one of our domains, pulling in three RSS feeds from all our sites, this will be a big aid in search engine rankings. Eventually when SSA switches over to this new software, we should see a significant increase in traffic from search engines. Exciting times. http://www.ssaudioforum.com/

I have great news for the SSaudio community. I've just installed and tested the new "member pages" modification for IPB 2.2.2 and it works great. Anyone with a validated SSaudio forum account can create and edit their own personal page here @ SSA! ENJOY

i'll try and start listing some new features of this software. For starters 1.) Check out your Status update , members can update their status simular to Myspace, Facebook etc... 2.) Friendly URLs, this will help out big time with Search Engine Optimization 3.) New Gallery Set up, much easier to use, navigate etc... 4.) New Calendar Set up, members can input their own calendar events, new layout 5.) Search Engine, now you can search 2 character strings, and see results! more to come. check this post for updates...

I've added alot of avatars to choose from in the "my controls" section. There are some very nice avatars there, that you'll find you can't get at alot of sites. Hope you enjoy..
