Well, we have orders to Colorado Springs and will be leaving Germany in about a month and a half, so we went ahead and bought a house about 15 minutes from Peterson AFB. Prices are low, interest rates are low, it was a good time to buy. It should be closed before we get there. We are pretty excited, I'll actually have space to work on projects again....

So I get this squealing tire ticket after making a left turn out of an intersection... I was waiting for the other lane to clear i was in the middle of the intersection and the light was red, so i punched it to get outta there, and I get pulled over and ticketed. I think, go to court I cant lose because of the situation it was. Judge tells me squealing tires is only permittable in an emergency and that was not an emergency. Wife has a minivan (slightly older, high mileage), wanted something more fuel efficient to drive. However, with our family size we still need something that seats 5 passengers comfortably, so realistically a 6-7 seat vehicle. While my '94 Roadmaster is a beast and uber-comfy, fitting 2 older children and 1 car seat in the back just wasn't going to happen. And I wasn't driving a fucking minivan on the daily. So, we decided to look at getting me a SUV with 3rd row seating so we can get her a crappy little compact car at some point in the near future I'm not much of a spender, so stepping outside of my comfort zone and dropping this much coin on a car was pretty diffic…

So I was doing some thinking tonight and I got curious to know what the loudest vehicle someone has sat in. I've heard at a certain point that your blood will come to the surface of your skin (full body hickie) at around 170 or so. I've personally sat in DB Dons port with a 165 at 45 hertz. The experience was "breath-taking". I mean that quite literally. I didn't lose complete use of my vision. however it did feel like I was drowning. I also was able to wave my arms for them to turn it off. Anyone else want to share?

Since I am paying my mom back for my car, she got the final say on which to get. I got a Mazda 6 Hatch in the gun metallic color. I will have to do some custom work soon to get a new HU in. It will cost me some cash to get a replacement deck area but it is worth it B) I will have some pics posted but not much since all i have is the car which i will have by tomorrow(they didn't have the color so they are dragging one over here)
