I had a Suzuki Bandit 1250 I bought new in 07...Sold it a few yrs back and have regretted it ever since. So the past couple of yrs I have been dreaming on buying another- but I finally found one that I couldn't pass up. I am a BIG guy- and though I loved my Bandit- I figures a sporty 'power' cruiser was in order. Been looking at Kawasaki Mean Streaks, Victory Vegas, VTX1800 s, etc. Ended up buying a 2003 VTX 1800C on Tuesday. Green, 11,xxx miles, windscreen, Engine LEDs, amp and speaks for mp3 player, backrest/rack(will be removed)... Saw it Saturday, at the dealer my dad works at. Stopped in, asked the Sales Manager(Hal) if they were trading the bike in. He said no…

Well, we have orders to Colorado Springs and will be leaving Germany in about a month and a half, so we went ahead and bought a house about 15 minutes from Peterson AFB. Prices are low, interest rates are low, it was a good time to buy. It should be closed before we get there. We are pretty excited, I'll actually have space to work on projects again....

Wife has a minivan (slightly older, high mileage), wanted something more fuel efficient to drive. However, with our family size we still need something that seats 5 passengers comfortably, so realistically a 6-7 seat vehicle. While my '94 Roadmaster is a beast and uber-comfy, fitting 2 older children and 1 car seat in the back just wasn't going to happen. And I wasn't driving a fucking minivan on the daily. So, we decided to look at getting me a SUV with 3rd row seating so we can get her a crappy little compact car at some point in the near future I'm not much of a spender, so stepping outside of my comfort zone and dropping this much coin on a car was pretty diffic…

Got back from city college last night and I got to grab some booms from my passenger side and my key won't go in. Looking closer its all torqued up in there and there circular etching around my key hole. Nothing is missing so I guess he was unsuccessful. I can't upload a pic with my phone at work but what was he trying to do? He was unsuccessful but what steps should I take for preventing anything. I don't have an alarm currently nor do I have anything to project in yet ha but it was the first day of this semester. Already happening geeze

Bout time I make a new thread! I just got home from seeing one of the all time Blues Greats perform! Buddy Guy! He's one of the few real original bluesmen left, one that has influenced many of the great guitarists, won 5 Grammy's, and is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! He's 70 some years old now, and he's still got it! The man could easily out play most guitarists around today. (Those who know me, understand that I do not arbitrarily or blindly say things like this without good reason!) I've been playing over 22 years, and it was completely awesome to finally see one of my guitar idols! Freekin' Awesome Man! and on that note............... "You Damn Right…

I got these iWave huge over ear headphones for like 5 bucks because they looked super cool and i think i can rebuild them, and as expected they sound like ass and are super quiet; the earcups are big enough to replace the speakers, but what should i look for in a 2"-2.5" speaker that will be playing right up on my dome? It's just something to do, but if it can sound good as well, that would be sweet. I am grabbing a class T 30w amp to power it, no sense in trying to get a ton of sound straight from the ipod itself. Worth it?

Toward the end of the golf course, Harry somehow managed to hit his ball into the woods finding it in a patch of pretty yellow buttercups. Trying to get his ball back in play, he ended up thrashing just about every buttercup in the patch. All of a sudden, POOF!, in a flash and puff of smoke, a little old woman appeared. She said, "I'm Mother Nature! Do you know how long it took me to make those buttercups? Just for that, you won't have any butter for your popcorn the rest of your life; better still; you won't have any butter for your toast for the rest of your life..... as a matter of fact, you won't have any butter for anything the rest of your life!" THEN POOF!....she w…

I was wonderin if i jsut bought the light i could still hook them up just as if i bought the ones you hook up from the store. In my car that is. if i just ran a 12v or lower source wire from teh anode and a ground to the cathode it should cut on and work just as a more expecive one would right, jsut tryin to save some money here. i bet dave could answer this.
