first and foremost,,thank you for your prayers, they are needed and do work! It feels good to be part of something that is real, I am glad that we have all of your support. Alex has a very aggresive skin condition that is resulting in large, puss filled blisters, (3/8" to 5/8"), they are very concerned of them entering his blood stream (at first they thought it had already) they have taken countlees bllod samples, they have taken cultures of the sore itself, (by cutting the sores literally off), and also strapped him down on a board and done a spinal tap, removing flood directly from his spine, all of this has been sent to labs, it is a horrible sight to see so much tram…

I asked on the Facebook group but I figured I'd ask here too. A very close friend of mine is in Stowe, Vermont with a Work and Travel program until October and she's looking for a second job. Either part time or second time. If anybody has a lead on something please let me know. What websites are used in the US for job searching? I'm already browsing Indeed. Cheers everyone !

My wife and I are looking at getting a couple of smartphones. I've never really done any research on them, so I'm looking for some advice on good phones and service providers. I don't need anything fancy in a phone. Basically something that I can use for phone calls and internet. A few things that would be nice are GPS and a camera, but they aren't a necessity. Anything specific I should be looking for or looking to avoid in a phone or phone plan?

I found this question and hoped someone here might know what this might be. Any ideas? I'm thinking of a car. Has 3 generations. 2nd generation is the best. 2nd generation Came out in Europe in 2005 and hit the states in 2006-2010 Car has between "400-600hp" stock(not listing exact hp that would be too easy) . Its known for very high end speeds. Not a 0-60 car but it murders on the freeway. Hint: Its not turbo charged or supercharged.

  8. Okay, so I'm going to be getting a couple of visor screens and rear screens for the car, and I am trying to decide on which gaming console to install... I first thought that something like the Wii would be fun, but I can see a window getting cracked or something already. So now I'm debating either between a good old PS2 (can be had on eBay for about $20-$50) which would be the cheaper solution... plus the controllers are smaller and easier to store; or an Xbox 360 (Anywhere from $150 up with controllers) which would be a slightly more expensive route but it is a newer system after all... I have a PS3 in the house but installing it in the car is out of the question lol. I…

Yeah pretty sad. But he got the car back. On the night of 09/25/11 around midnight in Providence, RI at my uncles house, his 2000 Nissan maxima was stolen. Well technically it's my dads Nissan maxima because my dad pays for the insurance of the car. But yeah my uncle called my dad and told him what happened. He said the doors were indeed locked. The guys that stole it obviously wanted something out of it. It's pretty weird, next day the police found the vehicle about two blocks down from my uncles house. Nothing was wrong with it, although they stole my uncles wallet that was in the car. The police said they were searching for something in the car.. They didn't go …

  17. audio technix ischeaper than all of those and is 60 mil thick http://audiotechnix Edit by Moderator: This is the post that started all the off topic garbage in that started in the "Sound Deadening on a Budget" Topic. I went ahead and removed everything that was off topic or a reply to the off topic posts. This isn't needed and really hinders people's ability to find good information. This will also be locked and moved because it was never to achieve a goal. I believe I have not altered the original intent of the topic by doing so.

How many forum members does it take to change a light bulb? 1 to change the light bulb. 1 to post that the light bulb has been changed. 14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently. 7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs. 27 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs 53 to flag the spell checkers. 6 to argue over whether it's "light bulb" or "lightbulb" ... another 6 to condemn those 6 as anal-retentive. 2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp" 15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and tha…

at 4 pm today my beautiful fiancée Savanah became my wife. I have a beautiful stepdaughter whom I love so much. p.s. to get this back towards car audio, I'm gonna be redoing the system in her car. Right now she has a broken factory cd player and 1 and a half working speakers out of four. I am probably not spending much. She wants a DVD player, so I'll probably do a Dual or Jensen. ( I know i should do something not so shitty, but it fit the price range and features she wants). I have a set of Pioneer 6x9's that will fit her back deck and will buy a cheap set of 4x6's for the doors. Won't be winning SQ comps but she'll definitely enjoy it better than the broken stuff she …

  20. I see a lot of people gettin into car audio lately with some pretty decent setups, a lot better than the average joe going to the shop to have their stuff installed. Any of you ever thought about competing? I used to be like a bunch of you... Thinking competition is too professional. Been doin it for years, know way more than what you may know... Well you know what. That's not the case at all! Many people i have met over the past several months are newcomers who have grown a lot since their first competition. You meet many people who have plenty of knowledge to share. You gain knowledge and the respect of the car audio world. I had been in the competition scene for sever…

I hoped in my truck headed to work, I cranked up my truck and it was running for about 15 seconds then shutoff like it seized up. I was like shit my belt jumped off and wound up in the pulley or my 0 gauge got snagged by the belt. After about 5 seconds of cussing in my head, I heard a meow. I popped the hood and found a 2 month old kitten mangled in my dual alt bracket and belt. It was still alive so I managed to disassemble my truck and pop the belt off. It rolled out on the ground, all the legs were broke and it had a huge gash behind its head. So I poped out the ole pistol and ended its suffering. I can now officially say my belt and alts are kitty proof lol!!

I have a 2013 chrysler 300 awd v6, and I am insanely picky with rims. I pretty much hate them all to be honest but I have finally found the one and the only rim for me. I want the velocity vm12 22s. Which have all the right specifications except being an offset of 30mm. The recommended offset for my car is between 34-42. Do you guys think I can get away with that 4mm? Maybe not with regular sized tires but with low pros? I do not know much about rims honestly but looking at the car there is a solid 3-4in around the front tire to the fender. speaking of which I know nothing about tires either, what size low pro would work with these rims and my car? Also can't a machine sh…
