So today I was in a HURRY to get to school, ya i know school, well one of the 2 lanes I was on was closing so I popped into the other lane which wasn't being closed due to street painting and to my surprise the dude in front of me slams his brakes on and I couldn't get out of the way fast enough. His story was he was turning into his lane-way, well turns out he was and i guess he had to stop to do it? at any rate here is the goods! 2- lights 1- power steering tank 1-front fender 1-hood (kinda) 1- 90degree fitting attaching coolant jug to rad! and ya this is my dad's car, my car was getting new tires/wheel bearings! and if you are wondering about the truck well I turned h…

Saw Thor last night... While it definitely has some very nice special effects which some would only excel in an IMAX capable theater and the fact that there is surprisingly a lot of comedy involved with this film, the "superhero" part of the movie is lacking greatly.... When i go to a Marvel comic movie, i'm assuming i'm going to see some "Super-natural powers" from the main character(s). There was actually very short scenes where the user sees this... This movie actually reminds me of Spiderman. Unless there is sequels to be made from Thor... it is wise to probably only watch this one and move on... The problem with this theory is Avengers is coming May 2012 so i highly…

Is it human nature to take all forms of criticism and instantly assume the person giving the criticism is trying to insult you personally? I know I used to think that way, I no longer do and now it seems like, to me at least, that a lot of people think that even constructive criticism is insult based. When I try to help people, I try my best to make it seem like I am helping or at least trying to. But there is always someone who wants to assume I am just insulting them, even when I try to explain I am helping, they still think I am just trying to be mean towards them. I bring this up from a recent Facebook conversation where someone assumed I was trying to insult them a…

Ok, so this may be a lil way off topic, maybe too off topic , but a interesting topic indeed. I'm no conspirator or anything, but I do have a very open mind, which is why I am bringing this topic here, to hear what other people may or may not think about what really happened on 9/11. So my question is simply put, what do you guys really think happened on that date? If you ever have spare time(two hours), you should watch This Film. But be warned, there are three major topics that may be viewed wrongly or harmful to some. But if you do have a open mind, and just want to take in some valueable information, this may interest you. The three topics that are discussed in this…

I will be competing at the MLG Dallas tournament this weekend. My team name is "Fully Loaded" It consist of Me(The SuphiX), Tie Rant X, The Prephix, and The Sinis7er. I will be competing in Halo: Reach. If you don't know what MLG is, I will kindly explain it to the best of my ability. Ok, so in halo, mlg style, is the competitive side of the world, like top 5% of the entire halo community. But I love it. I started back in 06. Well anyway, there is 4 people on a team. You have two different game types, one, is a slayer game type where the objective is to kill the other team, The first to 50 wins. And the other game type is called varied, but for the most part, its an objec…

  18. I am not sure if I mentioned it before, but something fun on the side I (well machines) have been doing is contributing to some distributed computing projects through BOINC. BOINC uses the unused CPU time on peoples personal machines, the most famous being SETI. SETI is based out of UC Berkley and is the most popular project. Some of the projects are very interesting and are quite important to science research and development, many dealing with protein folding, quantum mechanics, AI, bio-chem, deep space radio signals, and physics etc. The reason for this topic is a call for help for the team I am on > SETI.USA. For every work unit crunched by a team member, credi…

  20. There's this 16 yr old rapper named Earl Sweatshirt who raps about all kinds of crazy stuff. His mother is a professor and was recommended his mixtape by one of her students. Once she heard it and figured out it was her son, she sent him away to a boarding school in Samoa. He's part of a group called "odd future" who has an enormous buzz in the music industry right now. They're traveling the world performing, getting magazine covers, and making millions while earl is stuck at a boarding school. Here's one of the songs she heard Article As a parent, what would you do? IMO, Music is an art and a form of expression. Rap music contains many levels and simply listening an…
