I can't believe the get together has come and gone. It was a good meet with familiar faces and a few new faces. Thanks to Big Jon and the team at the Happy Cow Bar and Grill for their efforts in making this meet possible. Metering and full tilt demos were cut short this year, but that didn't stop us from hanging out and talking car stereos. Enough of my rambling, now some pics. Jake was one of the few to get to meter on BigJon's TL. The Happy Cow Bar and Grill allowed us to setup a lane next to their covered patio. This made for a great meet in the shade. Many thanks. Here's another angle of the people enjoying that nice patio. This is Jake's setup. Two Fi BLs off o…

Thought it might be fun to share our stories of getting burnt by the PO-lice. I've been pretty clean since I've been an adult. When I was a juvenile, I got busted once for drinking vodka out of a water bottle at a high school football game. I know, stupid as hell, but I guess you live and learn. I would have never gotten caught if it hadn't been for some holier than thou narcs. For that little bit of fun, I ended up with my license suspended until after I was eighteen (this happened when I was fifteen, if I recall correctly). Secondly on my juvenile record, when I was sixteen I was out riding around on a Honda Z50 dirtbike, lolz. I could ride wheelies like a champ on th…

Alright first I would like to say that I have no idea what forum section this would be under. Ok my real question is, what major would I do if I wanted to either design subs, components, ect. Or if I wanted to design amps. I'm thinking it would be electrical engineering or sound engineering (if that is real). I really like car audio and since I actually have a musical talent and am able to hear tones very well. I've played the saxophone for 7 years now to help back up the talent part. I'm not bullshiting anything I'm dead serious about this question.

My wife and I are looking at getting a couple of smartphones. I've never really done any research on them, so I'm looking for some advice on good phones and service providers. I don't need anything fancy in a phone. Basically something that I can use for phone calls and internet. A few things that would be nice are GPS and a camera, but they aren't a necessity. Anything specific I should be looking for or looking to avoid in a phone or phone plan?

Hello, My son and his wife will have to replace their house air conditioner. Live in Mass. Typical 3 bedroom Split style. I'm trying to help them out a bit, but certainly no expert with this. Unit is very old now, and the type where the condenser is located outside, and the evaporator is mounted to the duct work by the furnace (hot air heating system). Before we call in some contractors, thought I'd ask you experts he Is Trane still considered the "best" brand re reliability, etc. ? I guess most important, are there any brands (or models) to stay away from ? Any thoughts on what to ask contractor, things to look out for, gotchas, etc. would be most appreciated. Thanks…

Well I have been looking for a full time job in the Car Audio, Video, Security, Fabrication, or Car Upholstery Industry. Long story short I ran into one of my moms old friends yesterday and she told me if I sent here my resume, that she would send it out too all the local companies. She also told me to include a Cover Letter for the front. Honestly I dont even know where to begin, I'm a High School Graduate and an Acoustic Edge Graduate. I have pictures of almost all the work I have done for the past year or so. But I dont even know what i should included in the resume or the cover letter or the format for them, so any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

This Topic is to show off what you are getting your mother or wife for mothers day this year or maybe what you have gotten her in the past. For those people that need help deciding, maybe you can get some Idea's in here. I will start first, MY mother is VERY hard to shop for. SO I usualy try to build things for her. This year I am kinda cheating, but will still be building some of it. I got her three presents, the first one is an arrow head display. Here's how I built it, I got the arrow heads from my brother-in-law, who is Blackfoot Indian. His uncle hand knacked these just for my mother, this may be one of the biggest arrow/spear heads you will ever see. how they came…

**Also in build log** Okay so around 1 o'clock today i was waiting outside my girls house for her to get in my truck, she was inside getting ready and all that jazz. So, i'm waiting for a good 15 minutes then decided to kick back my key and turn my radio on.. so i'm playing some songs, and a cop drives by me and glares at me. I think, okay, hes just looking at my paint job, but then he whips around and flicks me. So i take my keys out of the ignition and place em on the dash. Figure out where my wallet was, then he comes up to my window and asks what i'm doing, where my girl lives, then asks for my license and i give it to him. He runs my number in his carputer and come…

Okay... so I've had my '95 for a few years now... love her to death, and before that was my '88 Brougham my first baby... absolutely loved that car so reliable... she got taken down by engine damage when my oil light failed to come on soon enough after a major oil leak developed... in a scrapyard now (she had barely hit 100k original miles) But now I find myself tempted to make the change back to an old school car... in particular a 1980-1984 Cadillac Coupe DeVille like this: or that I mean there's truly nothing like a nicely kept classic car, even a newer car with more gadgets and such. What do you guys think? Stick with the new or go back to the classics? My car now …
