Just curious. Do we have any licensed ham radio operators on here? I got my Tech a few weeks ago and have been loving it. Its amazing to go from cb (4-6 miles range) to 2meter (150+ mile range) and each base unit is the same size. Here is my setup in my daily driver. Cobra 19 in the right and a Kenwood 281 on the left.

Jusat had this run across my kind and now I think it may have already been done numerous times. Flush mount the speakers into the wall and hang paintings over it........Make people ask "why is your oil reproduction of the Mona Lisa singing "When Skin Turns blue by SFU"? Is this the dumbest idea ever, one thats been around for AGES and I was too stupid to realize it, or new idea and a damn good one? J

Alright guys, the first time I painted the wall was with some interior gloss paint. The issue here was there were some spots where it was actually still wet... even after 4 months of sitting. I'm somewhat weary on what paint I should use now to repaint the wall. Are there any suggestions to paint it with? We painted it in my heated garage ~70 degrees and some parts were still gooey under the bottom. We did light coats of it and it still happened.. Suggestions? I'm thinking about stripping all of the paint on the inside, but I wasn't sure how? Would chemical strippers be the best? It's mostly birch on the inside.

Post up some drift scores ... FYI, I use drift track 6 ... This one sucked, I just did it after having not played in a month or so ... Landed a couple of decent ones (170 k and 120 k) but also crashed on a whole bunch of other ones (had 220 k at one point, then lost it) ... For those who don't know, to take a screenshot, press the Prt Scr button, paste into paint, save as whatever.jpg, and upload to this thread

So... as the world turns, a very good friend of mine is returning to college in the search for more good ole edumacation. As a result he is selling me one of his babies.... More to the point, is anyone aware of a couple of decent Mustang forums? Primarily late Fox-Bodies (86-93). By decent I mean: SSA > CA > SD > etc... Thanks... Nick

  13. While searching for mine I contacted many people. I was able to find one and bought it. Afterwards I received amessage from one of the persons that I contacted. He has a 800prs for 200 bucks shipped. If anyone's looking for one I can help you contact him. If this is breaking any rules please delete it. Was just trying to help someone looking for a sweet deck.

Anybody have experience with them, if so, how long do they take to ship after payment? I realize they are made to order which will affect the length of time... I paid on Thursday, the payment cleared immediately, but it still says "processing..." I ordered a new 250amp High Output unit for my car (The stock one took a dump, causing multiple sensors to burn out in the process). It's this one here. Thanks guys

So a different site I am on has a thread where they put up pics of nice rides they have come across either in person or on the web. They have had great luck with it so I figured you guys would probably like it too. Seeing as how having a nice car is a passion we all have. So with out further ado, I'll get this party stated. Oh and the black one in the back ground. So kinda pics like those. Now post up!

  24. I know you guys are.. and i am too... Everyday.. every other day... 6 minutes ago... either here or elsewhere, people are ALWAYS asking how many batteries, is this enough battery, is my alt strong enough, how many alts will i need, etc.... Well... i've been meaning to say this for a while and it seems it's time now. STOP PUTTING YOUR ELECTRICAL SYSTEM QUESTIONS UP ON A PEDESTAL! Just because you may want to install 2,000w on stock electrical system doesn't mean it's immediately going to suffer catastrophic failure! This is where we, as a group, teach common sense..... Let's look at absolutes vs varied values- Hooking up amp(s)- They MUST be wired and grounded- Absolute …

So i was with a buddy, he was looking for a new truck. He was dead set on a hemi (05-07) or maybe even larger engine. We spent the whole night looking at trucks, and then go home. The next night i call him, and he said he got a new truck. I asked him what it was, and he said it was a 2006 4.7 ram.. "the dealer told me it only has 20 hp less than a hemi". I just acted like i was amazed, and didn't want to bring him down since he just got a new truck. But to the point, a new 4.7 model has 230-235 horsepower. A 5.7 Hemi has ~340 horsepower, and i'm not about to be the one to break it to him, lol. Sorry for the rant, but its 1:00 am over here and i was thinking about this wh…
