Well the other day I was talking to a friend about music and he said he was selling a couple of his drumsets ( kid has 3...... ). Anyways I asked him how much/brand/etc. Anyways he sold me this: it's a gretsch u.s. maple with a pearl maple snare. I don't care for the stands but I'm changing those soon(probably dw stuff). Cymbals: Sabian aa regular hi-hat, zildjian a custom 16" brilliant crash, Sabian 21" hh raw bell dry ride, and Zildjian 18" china. The hi hat stand is missing the piece to open and close the cymbals but I'm about to buy a new stand anyways, one that works with double bass pedals(2 feet instead of 3 feet). So was thinking and it just came across my mind that SSA should do a payment plan for equipment. Like as someone pays a certain amount each week or month or whenever they get spair cash to buy say a new zcon!! I think it would get alot more sales for you guys and you can also charge like an iinterest or fee or something for those who cant pay up all at once. Im not sure if this has been mentioned before but i thought it was a good idea and wanted to bring it to your attention. I know if this was possible id be gettin on of those zcons and could pay it off within 2 months or so

i have belt slip... not tons but enough... and my cold idle charge is 14.1 and hot is 13.8 ..... MIA will get me at 15 cold 14ish hot.... both are about 200 bucks..... the idle pulley will be 200 plus the new belt 60 bucks for a good one

Well my friend just invited me to go with him to Las Vegas for the SEMA show. Before this I had never even heard of SEMA(I know I'm a n00b), but it sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun. Anyone else gonna be out there? I believe it's November 1st - 4? or something like that. Plane tickets are gonna kill me though, it's like 600 bucks.

It is that time of the century again, and I am overseas. Currently sitting in the hotter of 2 countries I will see (supposidly) with a sandier climate. Here its been about 130* daily and kinda windy. For those of you trying to fathom 130*, have the wife/gf/mom put the blow dryer on high and hold it about 3 feet away from your face then slam your face with baby powder. THIS is a normal day here.
