I need some help with some spam bots over on 2.1.7, does the new version have better registration protection?

Well, after ordering all my new equipment and waiting a month on the SP4's, amps, yada yada yada. The headgaskets blow in my truck....... I went ahead and spent a small fortune getting upgrades and making the motor pretty much bullet proof and throwing some serious power to it. Truck runs like a animal now....Should be around 430-450rwhp and 750+rwtq on the tune thats in there. Well I go 3 days and BOOM, transmission must not have liked the new found power and is now toast. Jusat had this run across my kind and now I think it may have already been done numerous times. Something very simple and low maintenance, just like a 14' aluminum boat for fishing in the lakes around here. There are a few in the newspaper classifieds for $600-1200, which is about all I'd want to spend. But I know almost nothing about boat ownership. I figure you have to register it and pay property taxes on it and the trailer plus get a tag for the trailer. But is insurance necessary? Unfortunately I don't have a house and garage of my own to store it in, as I live in a townhome complex. Don't know if this is the right spot to post this but... Evansville Indiana July 23, 2011 - Ronnie's Road to Recovery benefit Car Show, Half-Pot, Raffle, and Cook out. All proceeds go to Ronnie Mercer, who was in a very bad motorcycle accident the end of April. The person that pulled out in front of him had no insurance. He is still in the hospital undergoing different surgeries and dialysis. We need all the support and money we can get to help this 31yr old single father of 2 boys! He's a coworker. there is a fee for registering if your showing i think it's like 15-20 bucks. Its free to attend though. Donations accepted. It is at the CVS on first ave.

How many of you guys are drag racing fans, specifically Top Fuel and Funny Car. I'm just about gay for it. I have nhra.com "live timing" up so I can watch qualifying numbers while I work on the computer. I even had our Daber Audio logo on Tim Wilkerson's Funny Car for the first two events. I'm not sure if the sticker is on it at Gainesville this weekend because he just got his new body. I guess I will see when the pictures come out on CompetitionPlus.com tonight. I'm also loving the fact that Pro Mod is now an NHRA recognized class. Just wanted to know if there were any other NHRA fan boys on here.
