I was wonderin if i jsut bought the light i could still hook them up just as if i bought the ones you hook up from the store. In my car that is. if i just ran a 12v or lower source wire from teh anode and a ground to the cathode it should cut on and work just as a more expecive one would right, jsut tryin to save some money here. i bet dave could answer this.

I was wondering if anyone would know why this happened- I was foolin around with Audacity the other day and generated a 50hz tone. I then took an audio recording program and for fun was wondering if recording a playing test tone, if the recording would be clipped or not. Well, the recording was heavily clipped.... but also recorded something different. My course was a non clipped (0db) 50hz tone. The recorded sample was a clipped 39hz tone.... how?

Origins Boxing Day is a traditional celebration, dating back to the Middle Ages, and consisted of the practice of giving out gifts to employees, the poor, or to people in a lower social class. The name has numerous folk etymologies[3]; the Oxford English Dictionary attributes it to the Christmas box; the verb box meaning: "To give a Christmas-box (colloq.); whence boxing-day." Outside the Commonwealth, the day is celebrated with a different name. [edit] Folk etymologies The more common stories include: * It was the day when people would give a present or Christmas box to those who had worked for them throughout the year. * In feudal times, Christmas was a reason f…

This is a bricklayer's accident report, which was printed in the newsletter of the Australian equivalent of the Workers Compensation board. This is a true story. Had this guy died, he\'d have received a Darwin Award for sure....... Dear Sir, I am writing in response to your request for additional information in Block 3 of the accident report form. I put \"poor planning\" as the cause of my accident. You asked for a fuller explanation and I trust the following details will be sufficient. I am a bricklayer by trade. On the day of the accident, I was working alone on the roof of a new six-story building. When I completed my work, I found that I had some bricks left over whic…

I was just curious, but my 1610d hifonics amp gets warm at idle, its hooked up to a 14 volts 58 amp power supply, and if its not doing anything it gets warm, but if i turn the music up about a 1/3rd the way it stays cool, is it a wasted energy thing or what??

With my new job, I've decided it's finally time to upgrade to what I've wanted for a while now -- a small/medium sized SUV. I'm looking at either '96+ blazers or '99+ cherokees (if I can find one cheap), although I'm open to suggestions. Anybody have experience with either of these vehicles? Any other suggestions for something similar? Budget is most likely $7,000 max so too new is out of the question.
