If anyone noticed I was gone, I started college, and didn't think the audio addiction would be good for my quickly deminishing funds. I'm broke now so I don't have to worry, so I'm making a comeback Anything big happen lately? Any new brands pop up, the tumult been used in a vehicle yet, anybody else a daddy?

Anyone ever heard of some type of reverse ipod adapter. I've been thinking about how it would be great for carpc's in cars with ipod interfaces. It would hook up to the ipod interface on one end and go to the pc on the other end for controlling a media app. It's probably something I should post on mp3car.com. I know car2pc.com makes interfaces to control, but they only have a limited list of vehicles they work with. I figured this would end up being a little more universal. I dunno, I get bored at work quite a bit so I end up thinking of all kinds of crap like this.

Okay skipped 1st class to sleep and kinda forgot the extra sleep. Went to philosophy and talked to my friend Ryan. Ryan calls this kid who has had His Rockford that I want, sence least summer. Kid calls Ryan back after class and tells Ryan to have m go get it later. Well in the meantime we go look at a friends old beat ass rice Neon. Rice rims, and bad tint. Needs a starter. Well Ryan looks to buy it and I tell chris (my friend) to go get the amp with me. On the drive home I suggest my Pioneer TS-W33C subs all 4 of them and a home made basically wall, and my old Pioneer amp the Rockford would be replasing for his 1995 Dodge Neon SE. He calls his dad and his dad agrees. No…

Ok. I give up. How do I post a pic in the forums. I did a search and can't find anything. I can't copy and paste, that doesn't work. When I click on the "Insert Image" button a box comes up asking for an URL. The image that I want to post is on my computer and doesn't have an URL. Any help would be appreciated. Mike

Today is the 10 year anniversary of Charles Mark Mercer. Charlie was a son to me, even though he was not my son by birth or adoption. The story of his death as published in the Tucson Citizen the following day was less than flattering; it only spoke of a prior DUI conviction and the tragic circumstances of his passing. There was no mention of an exceptionally gifted 21 year old who died just as he was on the brink of fulfilling his immense potential. Charlie had earned a full ride academic scholarship to Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University where he carried a 4.0 GPA in electrical engineering. He also owned his own small but growing car audio business.…

Hey - I've got a few small (the biggest is maybe an inch by 3/4") rust spots forming near the top of the rain gutter...other than being somewhat of an eyesore on that side, I figure I might as well stop them from getting larger. I have both a can of spray touch-up paint in the OEM color and a small bottle of brush-on lacquer. So I defer to you, oh fellows who have done this before...what's the best way to prep and paint this so it looks decent and stops it from rusting any more? I was thinking of sanding it lightly to remove loose paint and rust and taping it off with blue painter's tape and newspaper to protect the finish...putting on a primer coat and finally spraying …

I'm not sure if anyone here knows anything about this type of thing, but I'm needing some advice. I had a company come out today and give me an estimate for a new heating and cooling unit, as ours is over 20 years old and needs replaced. He gave me 8 different options ranging from $5000 to a little over $6000 (everything included, labor, mileage, etc). Anyway, he brought up the subject of air conditioner vs heat pump. I've been doing some research on them all morning, but still can't decide which would be the best route to go. The difference between the two range anywhere from about $450 to almost $1000. We live in Kansas, so there's everything from very cold winters to e…

I used to own a few diff.... vBulletin forums in the admin panel you were able to make it so that when you hover a thread it would give you a preview of the first post, also you could set the amount of characters it would show. Any chance this board could do that ? I hate having to click the thread to see what's going on inside just to realize I'm not intrested. Just an idea if it's not an option cool but if it is please consider doing so. Thanks alot for looking. -BD

Seen it done on other forums, and it would be cool to have it here but we'd have to hurry! I would love to set it up, but I am out of town for work and I don't have the spare time sadly. If we get a lot of people wanting to do this I have a VERY nice reference that will help whoever takes the responsibility on setting it up. Of course, it would be for members that have been around awhile so we don't risk scammers getting in. I will help whoever sets it up as much as I can. It would be set up something like this; E-mail whoever set this up, include the following: - Real Name - Real Shipping Address - SSA Name - List of a few things that will give your Secret Santa a …

Upon hearing that her elderly grandfather had just passed away, Katie went straight to her grandparent's house to visit her 95-year-old grandmother and comfort her. When she asked how her grandfather had died, her grandmother replied, "He had a heart attack while we were making love on Sunday morning." Horrified, Katie told her grandmother that two people nearly 100 years old having sex would surely be asking for trouble. "Oh, no, my dear," replied granny. "Many years ago, realizing our advanced age, we figured out the best time to do it was when the church bells would start to ring. It was just the right rhythm. Nice and slow and even. Nothing too strenuous, simply in on…

Have you ever walked into a room and just thought to yourself, "What the fudge were they thinking when they came up with this ?" I know I do everytime I walk into my local Wal-Mart's bathroom and see 2-3 guys cocks while they're taking a piss because someone decided men don't need privacy. Yup, the door opens at a 90 degree angle the to the urinals. Did I mention you're also visible to everyone walking down the shoe aisle ? Awesome planning ... Then I head on over to the largest store in town, The Real Canadian Superstore, but I ate McDonald's at Wal-Mart and suddenly need to go to the bathroom. I run over there clenching my ass cheeks together only to find out that t…
