Whew...well, I have been here off and on a few times, but 2 jobs is a killer.. New news is that I have the scion sold to a guy in washington state (i'm in FL). Everything goes except the rl-p and the memphis mcd's! Buying a friend of mine's s10 blazer 4x4, so...time for a new box! Actually, I think I'm gonna put the rlp in the classifies section, and go for 2-10's for the new ride. SO anyways..just wanted to chime in...I'm sure at least one person missed me....worried about me.... later!

Hey all Reported a few days ago that I was doing contracting work for a remodeling/furniture company, well since I'm kind of a green horn to all this, I found out that even though I'm working for a company, it's considered self-employment. When I got paid yesterday, there were no taxes taken out... so I was a little worried, I asked one of the guys if I would end up having to pay in a massive amount at the end of the year... and he told me to save all of my receipts for food, gas, tools... he says he even counts beer. Apparently he takes everything to a tax lady he knows at the end of the year and pays her about $250 for her services, and comes out scott-free without payi…

Don't Lick Envelopes I used to work for an envelope company. Our plant supervisor used to work in the Chicago plant and told us not to lick the envelopes because they would often find dead rats at the bottom of the glue barrel (after thousands of envelopes had been glued and shipped). Seems like my wife is the worst. For example, I check the bank accounts regularly and I keep very good track or what is coming out and going in. But my wife has a different take on it. She thinks as long as she has checks there is money in the bank. This is bad enough, but then she forgets to tell me and things go from bad to worse. Ive been lurking around audio forums for awhile now trying to pick up as much technical info as I can to better understand the actual physics behind the audio design concepts.
