I had a company come out today and give me an estimate for a new heating and cooling unit, as ours is over 20 years old and needs replaced. He gave me 8 different options ranging from $5000 to a little over $6000 (everything included, labor, mileage, etc). Anyway, he brought up the subject of air conditioner vs heat pump. I've been doing some research on them all morning, but still can't decide which would be the best route to go. The difference between the two range anywhere from about $450 to almost $1000. Would really like to see SSA be involved in the Amplifier market.

Alright I decided my vehicle is time to get the boot and me get a new one because I'm tired of putting more into it then what it's worth. So I'm looking for opinions on which vehicle to go with. Either A. A 03 chevy S-10 (the 3 seater) that has 44K miles for about $7 grand Or B. A 97 GMC Sierra 1500 with 89.5K miles for almost $5 grand. What I'm looking for which would be better for gas, builds, and handle lovely Ohio winters.

I am seriously trying to put togather a show here in louisiana. I was wondering who, if anyone would be interested in coming to show off there systems to people here in north louisisna. My cousin and I am in the process of opening a shop and most of the brands here on SSa we will be carring. There are hardly anyone here that we know of that have any of the products on SSA around here. So before we put it togather we were trying to see how many people may want to come.

Off and on for the last 2 years, my wife and I had been attempting to help a family friend get on her feet. We gave the girl a good home and treated her as our on child, even though we were only in our 20's and she was a bratty teenager. Things went bad with her attitude and to make a long story short, we have since parted ways. We were cleaning out her old room and what do we find....a 3rd gen 32 gb ipod touch! woohoo, new toy for me. We, SSA as a whole, just pased the 500,000 post mark in the last 12 hours. Something to be said as it is not all spam or BS much like most forums who fly past the 500k mark in a year. It took SSA just shy of 6 years of largely quality posting and membership. But maybe we can reach the 1mil mark in 1/2 that with the growing member base.

There are no vacuum leaks and the timing is good...I pull code p0102 (maf sensor) and sometimes a p0305 (cyl 5 miss). The truck stumbles from idle to about 1k rpm when in neutral or park. I tried cleaning the maf and disconnecting it, either way it ran no different. The plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and coil are all new. Any more pointers from anyone, could a bad maf cause a miss?

I was just curious, but my 1610d hifonics amp gets warm at idle, its hooked up to a 14 volts 58 amp power supply, and if its not doing anything it gets warm, but if i turn the music up about a 1/3rd the way it stays cool, is it a wasted energy thing or what??
