Stop typing like that it is SUPER annoying. You think they are garbage, and I think you are an idiot. (note, equally fair statements) For a mainstream product, the Kicker is more than fine. I wouldn't say that it is the greatest deal I have seen and think you can get it cheaper but I might be biased. And yes, that box is way too small for that driver.

  5. The loudspeaker circuit includes the connecting wire between the amplifier terminals and the speaker terminals, the amplifier internal impedance and the impedance of the speaker system. The wire could be copper or silver and perhaps coated with solder containing tin. wilson signal booster

The madness is about to begin.....again, well not to much. Remember i am not looking for a all out SPL setup, just a daily driver that is light on weight and still bangs...a solid 12 BL in a 2.0 cu ft enclosure~35Hz equipment: 12 BL dual 1 Alpine MRP M1000 (yes i know, no subsonic filter blah....it was stuffed away in my closet so i wanna give it some use) Knu Konceptz 4awg Kolossus cable Sundown 100.4 (JL 6.5s, tweets) Still need another set of components for the rear. Also my enclosure is temporary due to the fact i dont know if my new car rear seats fold down......if they dont i know there is a armrest that connects to trunk. Maybe aeroport straight forward. Oh, I'm close as well. I'm thinkin what it is is alpine units bass control is not a crossover but a center frequency and you can adjust freq and bandwidth. What I have set is +2 on both bass and treble with highest bandwidth possible. So... I believe is slowly sloping the frequency range. I had to have it set like that with the last amps I had or it wouldn't get full clean power without a little help. If my next amps are like that, I'll just get a line driver and 3way x-over since I need that anyway

I think a 15" version of a SD-1 that could handle a 1000D would do exceptionally well. The 1000D is one of my overall favorites of the sundown amps for daily setups due to the size and power that it puts out. Have you thought about a 15" version?
