were doing a lil testing of our own here in Big D TX we have built a box for a single 12" SoundStream Spl-x Quad coil and w/ 2x SAZ1500d amps strapped Master & Slave w/ 1x Kenitik 2000 battery we got a 151.3db in a Crystler Sebring, from the trunk. box was 2cf ported @ 60Hz using 2x aeroports, flanges butt to butt with no center section, basiclly 6"

The BTL is moving but I'm running a 100 amp fuse and it's not popping. Suggested fuse is 300 if I remember right so I figure I might be getting less than 3K. Also the BTL is dual 2ohm? and w/ meter measured 1.5ohms per coil. When hooked up in series (as I was telling my friend "we should get 3 ohms") the meter read 2 ohms.??????????? Maybe another topic but why wouldn't it be 3 ohms? Anyhow Sndwn 3000 @ 2ohms = how many watts. I know that this baby has more and I'm definately pumped on how it looks, sounds, and performs so far. Hey guys I just got both of my tc sound 18 lms today and one of mine had a crank in top of the frame also it will play fine I think, but I think I may have a problem with the mounting and sealing of the sub. I will post pictures of it later. I think I might be able to work with it. We will see.

You'd probably want to go with about 1cf per driver tuned around 35hz. I'll figure the box up as common chamber. The port is a 2x12 slot, 16 inches long. This occupies about 0.25cf counting the MDF used for one of the port walls (we'll have the port against one side of the box, and between the top and bottom, so only one port wall has to be constructed). So, we're going to want a total of about 2.5cf before woofer and port displacement. Our external dimensions will be 13.5H x 33W x 19.5D.
