Why not Atomic apxx18s? These things can handle the power and are insane! These can handle 5000wrms all day long. APXX18 Or APX18

You need at least 4000 watts each to even get the BTLs moving....

Why do you personally think x-max is so important in a sealed enclosure application? Because in the case of sealed and IB applications the more displacement you have the more output you have.

I can go ported, the internal dimesions of the box are: 43w x 14h x 10(bottom) 5(top) x 7.5 deep w slant front wich comes to 2.61 cu ft, minus .16 cu ft for displacement of sub, if I go ported what would be the best port setup for music: 32 hz (recomended by Fi) ? I can do the port out top of box. I can do 24 sq in port x 18.75 in long ? does this sound right ?

It won't matter if you get a recone..from us..or somebody else..and do the same thing, you are going to burn it up again. The coils are wound the exact same way every time as they are done on a machine..positive and negative is always the same. If you had it wired wrong and had the coils out of phase with each other they will fight each other and something will burn. IE No sound! I made a video anyways for when you get a recone...just a helpful hint and a fyi, it is foolish to get a "Hybrid" made from somebody else...there is a reason behind why we use what we use in our subs. I'll make a better video later with a real camera that isn't my phone..but here it is. Hope th…
