I ordered two 12' Fi BL's a week ago and it said they were still processing it. They won't respond to my emails and they don't give a phone number to contact them with. This cost me a lot of money.. when can I expect to see a tracking order? Or a full refund if I don't get my subwoofers. A bit nervous.

I still feel, you come off as just a sarcastic dick. Not saying you are one, but that is exactly whats coming off. I of all people know the importance of a good enclosure and install. I had my two 10" JL w1's and had friends with similar setups. Mine came correct, it was tuned right, the box was the right size, and the install was clean. Despite others having maybe better subs or a better amp, my shit hit... it hit pretty damn hard. I know the importance of good installs and enclosures, but I believe without quality product to go along to go with quality craftsmanship it is just not up to par when going against an alright sub with a nice enclosure.

I'm looking at possibly doing a trade to get 2 12" Icons, and I was wondering if they would be ok running off of a Kicker 2500 daily? I've never owned an SSA sub, so I'm not to sure what to expect. Thx for any input you can give.

WOW I had to dig alot but I found specs for the improved version my kove, and remember this is the improved version, and I typed them into WinISD and I was shocked, the response curve was horrible, yes this sub gets damn loud, but the xcon was almost completely flat, and this kove dips down so far its amazing it can sound as good as it does, This xcon is gonna be truly awesome compared to what i'm used to. the difference in 40hz and a 20 hz is a 25db drop,

I have been meaning to get the o-scope for some time. I hate relying on other peoples equipment, I get in the mood to do something, then I cannot due to not having the equipment. So that is the motivation for getting the term-lab and o-scope. As far as the L brackets. The 10" brackets are in the upper part, they are joined by the front baffle and the port. Those brackets are rated for 150lbs each, and dont move at all.... Here is the o-scope that I am getting. Hand Held Digital Oscilloscope

Nothing else is going to be done with this build until I get my O-Scope and termlab in. So another $1400 in testing equipment. There is absolutely no reason to have a "big" system without the proper testing equipment..... I will update accordingly!

Are you making sure to subtract port volume from box volume before getting the port length?

At least you understood that clearly! And just for the record, I've had systems in my car since I was 17yrs old and never have I purchased any of the products i'm "boycotting"....I did have a Power HX2 12" for a while but that was only due to me trading 2 MTX 10's for it. But beyond that, I've never owned any of the aforementioned products, and it's not like they're the only one's that make decent products in the car audio world. But anyways, i'm done speaking on the subject, it is what it is. Carry on...
