After several months, I finally asked the man to forward the unit on to him so Stratus could follow through with a proper testing. The pictures Stratus posted warrants clarification so those who read this can fill in the blanks: 1.) The SPL-12 is wrapped in a thick plastic bag with four layers of cardboard that sits over the surround. It is then topped off with a flat cardboard piece to protect the cone. 2.) The SPl-12 comes with an aluminum trim ring for owners to switch out with the rubber gasket. It is normally pl…

I got to see a bit back in 06 or 07, but I'm sure it's a much much bigger operation lol. I was more impressed with how laid back and cool Scott was to talk to than the shop- which at the time was modest

Yes it will. The actual make/model/year would help narrow it down, but from my testing it should be a great fit.

lol, you don't recommend the 2400s but you tell him to listen to what i say and i say it's fine... He is really gonna be confused now, lol. 2 HC2400s are fine. If you are a Kinetik fan, that model number is what you want, 2 of them. If you are Powermaster fan, go with 2 XS D3100s... The Powermaster's are generally $30 more than the Kinetik's and i am biased to say that's what i'd use simply because their companies support forum is on this site if you have any questions. Haha Gotcha and ok Im just gonna go with the PowerMasters, you use them and you recommend them so there's no reason they should work for me.

would there really be a huge gain in output with the bl over the q, given they would be in the same enclosure and on the same amp?

This is a great topic. The hardest thing about working out, is getting to the gym. I believe in small short term goals.

I got some motivation for you man! I sort packages at FedEx over night... ITS INTENSE! Its to the point of 3-4 packages a second sometimes! Thats reading 3-4 zipcodes, and moving those packages to one of two locations, or letting them ride on by to the secondary sorter! I SWEAT IN 30-40 DEGREE WEATHER WEARING SLEEVLESS SHIRTS! Its the most intense 4 hours of the day. Normally after that, I'll get to sleep 3-6 hours, then go deliver pianos for 6-10 hours on average, sometimes even over 12 hours. Just the other day, we moved a nice big piano up about 30 steps, and it was a piece of cake!!!!!!! I work out too! Sometimes after the piano job, when I get off.. I'll head home, …

Exactly I only want 1. And Dual 2 Ohm can only be wired to 1ohm & 4 Ohms loads. Where Dual 4 Ohm can be wired to 2Ohms.

Exactly. That why if I were to upgrade to 2 of them then I could set it to 2 Ohms.
