What volume will each sub have then?

loud button=bad idea----------kinda like bass boost to me---yuck!!!! oh yeah----you can kill any speaker w/ distortion-----and you can kill one with too little power(since most people would crank the gains then----AKA---clipping the signal)-----think of this---- ---you are jumping on a bed(you are the speaker cone)-----you crank the gains(jump higher)-----all in all ceilings are a female dog!!!

I talked with the owner of this car this morning. He designed that box. He also mentioned that he had something to do with the design of the sub as well.....I'm now really thinking hard about what I'll use for my next system...

Either you have 2 18's with 6 cuft a piece or you have 3 15's with 4 cuft a piece. The 15's are rated at 2.8-4 cuft @ 28-33Hz per speaker. The 18's are rated at 6-10 cuft @ 28Hz per speaker. If I only have 12 cuft to build a box then I need to know if 3 15's in optimal conditions would be louder than 2 18's with less then optimal conditions. THANK YOU to everyone that helps me out.

Not hatin or ne thing but once that kid gets his car.. He will relize how much car audio really is when he has to pay for gas and other expenses.. Unless his parents will pay fer everything.. It isn't a sub. Not sure how you do math. 3" port 1.5*1.5*3.14 is NOT 28sqin and obviously 3" dia << 6.5" driver On top of that I am not sure I understand what you think you mean by unloading. That driver will KILL a 2" port if you are letting it wail unless you like chuffing that is.
