So now you're lying about lying. Is that like a double negative? Your dishonestly was illustrated in no uncertain terms. Just have a look at the other posts. Come to think of it, a liar will lie, so what's the point?

As I addressed your comments directly and on-point, quoting your assertions as a reference, this claim is ridiculous and clearly dishonest. Mind you, I'm not uploading proof by assertion. The post in question is located right above. I'm happy to see at least a single grain of intellectual truth. If you say so, but we all know what your claims are worth. I have no idea what you're talking about, though, an "I know you are, but what am I" is hardly something to be proud of. lets see, you reply to my arbitrary posts but ignore the one that you can't defend further because it's so poorly worded? and yet you have no idea what i'm talking about....

If you think that being a proven fibber is a point of pride, then you are. Call me crazy, but liars aren't the folks to trust.

That's very helpful and educational. You see, the horizontal section of the trunk cage is slightly more than 7.75" above the floor. As I would prefer a downfiring enclosure - mostly due to aesthetics - 3/4" doesn't leave me much room to work with. The drivers are 4.5" deep. As far as audio, I'd much rather go for 3/4" with a double baffle and structural reinforcement, and I will do just that for another project. In this case, the car is the focus; the system is secondary in importance, so I'll most likely opt for 5/8. That'll leave me ~1.5", or just a little more, between the floor and the box. As you mentioned, the ~4lb difference in material isn't enough to lose sleep o…

Welcome to noobdom. Am I writing in a tongue spoken on another planet? If you can't rephrase your comments in a commonly understood manner, your question is answered. BTW, what's stopping you from doing just that? Let me guess; your points are silly at best. Yet, somehow, you feel the need to keep posting, even though this is seemingly a lame attempt to try to get a piece of your own. Ruts-a-ruck. Again with the strawman argument? Clearly, the record says otherwise, so why spin the facts and not act honestly? <SIGH> At the risk of stating the brutally obvious, posting revolves around communication. As you're unwilling to make your comments easily understood, I'm…

Lmfao i didn't realize the tags were respect, this one goes out to my homies... So you admit once again you have trouble understanding me, and yet claim it's everyone else not understanding you? and one other thing, why is it that you find it difficult to understand "" and refrain from reading a paragraph as opposed to a paragraph surrounded by quotes? edit:whew it won't let you quote many times at all, so there wasnt much of a point in me trying to quote all your quotes anyway

That's certainly showing respect for the forum members. :-( As you're too lazy to delineate your comments and actually be understood, you'll have to forgive me for not reading any further. If you'd like to reformat your post, so that one doesn't have to struggle to read it, I'll gladly respond.

I don't have the time or the patients to screw with all the tags... "QUOTE I haven't used that 8, but every ID sub that I have played with preferred the enclosure on the larger side of their recommendations. Ahhh...so all 8" subs are the same. Brilliant." ok...you're saying he said all 8" subs are the same.... I'd say that's you misreading, or reading his mind? he said EVERY ID SUB. hence me informing you that ID is a sub, not a length. Saying that he said all 8" subs are the same is wrong. Please tell me where i'm arguing against my own claim? I"m not making the claims here, just letting you know what he said because you misread it. Also please show me where my "dis…

Interesting. You purposefully spin my question and then begin to argue against your own claim. A strawman at its "best." I asked whether the individual read the whole thread, as his comments did not follow what was already posted. There's a world of difference between that and your disingenuous assertion asking whether one can read. Too, if you can illustrate how I misrepresented a post, please do so. Just saying it is equivalent to blowing smoke. How does he know without listening to the setup in the car, as he as no idea as to the room gain and in-cabin response. Why do I feel like I'm repeating myself? Clearly, you've read my others posts and we still get this gem of…

(somehow I doubt that you're laughing) If you can explain how to model room gain with nothing to go on other than a pic, you may revolutionize audio as we know it. If you can do the same with in-cabin response, the AES would make you an honorary member. Who the fruck make this guy a member of the tech team? This is Audio101. That's equivalent to asking, "When did you stop beating your wife?" Please illustrate your claiming the enclosure is too small. I'd love to see this. Ahhh...so all 8" subs are the same. Brilliant. So what? 1. As was already illustrated, the enclosure is not too small, regardless of your wishful thinking. 2. <sigh> Are you another poster who …

1) New style heat-sink 2) Updated crossovers - not like these, but still very flexible 3) Upgraded power supply FETs 4) Part number change to SAX-125.2 (it really is ridiculously underrated so we adjusted the part # a bit) The 100.2 that are currently for sale have the new heat-sink design right? I have seen it advertised that they have them in stock w/ new heat-sink or is that a type-o?

Sorry, I missed your question. It's not a racecar; it's a street - legal racecar that I drive as much as possible. As you mentioned, in a (pure) racecar an audio system is ridiculous. FWIW, my road course machine is just a shell. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry, folks, but I have to go. Guys, I'm asking for ideas as to making the box better, given my constraints. I'm not here to fight. If you can't do that, please don't post. My original question has been answered. Unless there's some relevant information to read, there's no reason to stay around. My thanks to BJ and Denim. I apologize if I forgot anyone
