I've had my fi Q12 for about 7 months now. I woke up one day, started driving turned up the volume and all of a sudden a horrible rattling noise started playing. It's like a car rattling noise but coming directly from the speaker. I dont think the sub is blown. the cone pushes down just fine but I hate to play it loud cause it sounds so bad for the sub. I just took it out in case i need to send it in to get reconed. do you think ill need to do that? what do you think the problem is? thanks

Well i just installed all my equipment in my 4runner. I received my speakers today and hooked everthing up...4 15 ssd w/copper coils and bp power option...and im running 2 MA HK802SX amps.......Well the system hits pretty good, but i think it should or can do more....My voltage is dropping down to 10.2 volts at worst. Do you guys have any used SAE-1000Ds laying around?

I know this question has been posted before all over, but many of the discussions just turn into b***hfests, and no straight good answer is given. Would stuffing (polyfill etc...), or lining (vibration damper, mlv, etc...) a properly sized and well built box make any difference on the sound quality/characteristics of the subwoofer it contains? I'm looking for one good answer please, not a million random opinions. My head is just in a daze after looking at how many odd forum posts that don't answer the question I'm posing. Thanks to anyone who has good knowledge on this topic!
