I have been debating on what to do with the Mach 5 MLi's that I bought. After debating on the decision I decided to try to design a Transmission Line from them . Heres what I came up with. Its a Transmission Line enclosure tunned to about 52Hz. Now I dont know everything about designing enclosures but I read all that I could and tried some things that I thought were a starting point. The box is not nearly finished yet. I still have to add a tweeter, crossover, experiment with stuffing, and put a finish on it. But it is done enough to give it a listen. At Argent Audio we like to shake things up a bit. As we all know, a company is only as great as it's customers. This is why we like to offer monthly specials to help the customer save a few bucks. I mean, who doesn't like deals? Well as we all know, the economy is tough right now. We figure the best way to combat the economy is to give some money back and into the hands of our very own customers. How will we accomplish this? See below: The Deal: - Every customer that places an order from Argent Audio will automatically be entered into a monthly drawing. - On the last Saturday of every month, Argent Audio will randomly select one customer** - This lucky customer will recei… -

I had an idea a few weeks back. Shipping has always been a huge concern of mine. Its not so much the weight of the enclosures that's a factor, but rather the bulk. A medium sized box shipped to california is at least $60, which is a cost I'm forced to pass on to the customer. Packaging enclosures is also an important issue. According to UPS guidelines, I have to packgage each box with corrugated cardboard and seal it up with mailing tape. Packaging enclosures is a costly and time consuming process, which again is an expense that gets passed on to the customer. My idea is to sell the boxes as kits. Each kit would include everything you need to assemble a subwoofer box. A… -

Just trying to keep people in the loop. I have been getting a lot of e-mails from people nervous they are going to miss out on this deal. If for some reason I haven't responded to any of your e-mails please call me on the phone. It is listed on my sig. As long as I hear from you by Friday in one form or another you will still be eligiable for the free enclosure deal. As of today I have eight clients with enclosures built and waiting to be wrapped and shipped out. All these will be shipped out by Tuesday at the latest, I think Monday is a holiday. As soon as these enclosures are packed and picked up by UPS I will begin working on the other sketch-ups for others interest… -

So we currently have a less than 1% failure rate on our subs BUT people have asked for it so here it is. The old way The NEW way. Were sewing these on ourselves so they are kinda time consuming, this is why they are only going to be on the LV4's, XL's and LV5's. Singles on the 4's and XL's and the 5's will get doubles and for the 5's -

Hi everyone and welcome to the forum! First up, I'd like to thank denim for setting this forum up for me. He's a real standup guy! Let me fill you in on a few things about Mach 5 Audio: - This is a near non-profit endevour. Any profits made used to maintain the Mach 5 web site and the interest I incurr on loans to acquire product. Hence, the reason for the rock-bottom pricing structure. - I'm like you, I love playing with toys. Periodically, I comb the 'net for stuff I might like to try out. If I find something I'll usually order up a sample or two. When time allows, I post test results, and if the product is good enough, I will place a bulk order and sell them to… -

For the foreseeable future I will no longer build enclosures. I have one last bandpass to complete and that will be it. I will leave this section open until the end of the year. After that I may possibly move to the manufacturer section. -
