Test 1, 2, 3...

I know this question has been posted before all over, but many of the discussions just turn into b***hfests, and no straight good answer is given. Would stuffing (polyfill etc...), or lining (vibration damper, mlv, etc...) a properly sized and well built box make any difference on the sound quality/characteristics of the subwoofer it contains? I'm looking for one good answer please, not a million random opinions. My head is just in a daze after looking at how many odd forum posts that don't answer the question I'm posing. Thanks to anyone who has good knowledge on this topic!

I'm interested in one of the 1500s, i'm assuming since they were used by team sundown theyre not too beat up, but is there any way i can have you hold (if you still have them) one for me until the weekend of May 30? Parents sure aren't gonna loan me a few for something they find stupid, so i have to wait until i have the money then. They might not even be all sold by then, but i just wanted to see if it would be alright, i really dont want to miss out on this. Thanks for reading, Mitch.

Sorry, I missed your question. It's not a racecar; it's a street - legal racecar that I drive as much as possible. As you mentioned, in a (pure) racecar an audio system is ridiculous. I liked how the other was more stealth...but as far as being able to work on the system if anything was to go wrong this one owns the old install.....after all it is kinda hard to hide a 36 inch long amp....that MS1000 is a bitch to intergrate into the trunk. I can still get to my spare tire and the jack location.

We were given a project in my business management class -- make a business. I decided on doing a car audio shop. I got all the work on the business done early, so I figured I'd go above-and-beyond and build a movable car audio cabinet to show off a bit Here's the build log: I went to Lowes and got two sheets of 3/4" MDF, and had them cut it to spec. (The pictures are quite big if you click 'em... 56K'ers be warned!) The top being screwed on: The screws are in!: Counter-sunk ftw: I'll be filling those screw holes with some sort of putty so I can later paint the whole cabinet. I got some motivation for you man! I sort packages at FedEx over night... ITS INTENSE! Its to the point of 3-4 packages a second sometimes! Thats reading 3-4 zipcodes, and moving those packages to one of two locations, or letting them ride on by to the secondary sorter! I SWEAT IN 30-40 DEGREE WEATHER WEARING SLEEVLESS SHIRTS! Its the most intense 4 hours of the day. Normally after that, I'll get to sleep 3-6 hours, then go deliver pianos for 6-10 hours on average, sometimes even over 12 hours. Hello im wondering the same i found a box for the Re audio Sx 10'' version 2.0cubic ft tuned to 32hz. and the Re site recommends a 1.0 to 1.25 per sub @ 34 - 35Hz. when i look at videos on youtube people seem to be installing there Sx's in larger boxes.

I use heather to help me tune----keeps her involved with me and my love-----I told her "I love you but I loved Car audio first----take a number" Anyone here that has met her knows she is the most understanding wife in the world.

Looking for a reasonable price mag 15" that is still in good shape.
