What would be a good audio system... i had a set up in mind but i think im going to scratch what i had in mind cuz it was out of my price range i want somethin that has good SQ and is a good daily driver but when im with my friends and want to show off i can turn it up and make it hard for them to breath... also im kinda tight with money so i can work with up to $1000 going into the trink of my car im lookin for 2 15's i listen to everything but mostly rap & r&b and bass tracks... anyone has a good Sub/Amp combo for $1000 if its 1100 or 1200 thats fine too

well to answer your question. first I'm female. So that would rule out his brother. And yes the box he is building right now is only his second complete build, but he re-fubrished his old box he had used for his old sub. He is really good a problem solving and finding budget friendly ways to build without cutting down quality. And i'm not related to him either.

small update. i just picked myself up a pair of bucket seats so now i don't have to worry about my bulky bench seat and a the lack of mouting depth that was haunting me! soo stoked... with that said since changed my mind on my sub, sorta. lol. i might actually be getting into a better series. possibly the Q and very possibly the BL. theres not a huge difference in price between them all. and the mounting deph is something i can easily accomadate now. i'm looking for an amp for 500 or less, way less is possible. i am on somewhat of a budget, enough that i'm going to need to save up for it after i buy the sub b/c i'm also saving for a trip to alaska this summer.

2 08 kicker 15' L7s 4 ohm wired to 1ohm.. My speaker friend didn't get to adjust them yet cause he was at work, but he told me to adjust Gain by ear, subsonic on 30, bass boost all the way down and sumthing else. The board traces do not look strong enough. For instance, some Soundstreams had big problems with those, easily fixed though. The mosfets are "stressed" for the kind of power they should output.

PS: Just clamped the prototype on music at 1 ohm nominal / 2 ohms actual... 800 watts continuous.
