The Konaki hybrid will provide a good response sealed OR ported. The TC-9 based sub would make a good burp sub tuned relatively high. It would also do well in a moderately high tuned vented enclosure (like Digital Designs spec ported) for daily beating. You can re-cone this with just about any parts you want... if you buy a re-cone elsewhere be sure to mention the extra spacers added so the re-cone will have the voice coil aligned properly. Eclipse CD 5030 ARC AUDIO KS 300.2 MOREL DOTECH OVATION 6 ARC AUDIO KS 500.1 MINI DIAMOND AUDIO D3 15 Now first things first the KS 300.2 is powering the components at 180 x 2 @ 4 ohms The KS 500.1 Mini [500 x 1 @ 2 ohm] is powering the Diamond Audio D3 15 [1.75 sealed enclosure]. any of the above will work great. I would go with 2 DCONs if you can afford it. Cone advantage is priceless i've never heard a comparison of, for example, 1 12" on 500 watts compared to 2 of the same 12" on the same 500 watts. does it really make that big of a difference? i thought it wasn't much x2 on cone advantage
