i don't wanna work today, i wanna ride. i didn't ride yesterday, rain was called for, but never came. i will ride today, rain or otherwise. my boss actually questioned buying a harley over a jap cruiser...lol...he thought all harley's were 30k..hehe...said the jap bikes were far superior and cheaper. maybe back a few years, say amf years and early evo's, but not now, especially on the cheaper part. unless you buy used. but when you buy a harley, your making an investment, not a purchase. no jap cruiser will ever retain it's value like a harley. he then said a vtx1800 will walk a harley..hmmm....it starts out with 350cc's more displacement...but i'll run it..hehe..... som…

M5 and Jay cee, I dont think im as knowledgeable in car audio as you guys are giving me credit for, when your asking what are my plans? what am I willing to do? Im not sure what is necessary and what is not necessary, as M5 stated earlier I started this thread with the idea of having two sets of Components one in the front one in the back. I have learned that you guys highly disagree with this. but this as a example of what my previous knowledge was, im not sure on what i need to be looking into on install? so MJ is suggesting something that is alot easier to do.. (although after finished maybe you guys wouldn't be satisfied with the sound of the install, is it something …

As I addressed your comments directly and on-point, quoting your assertions as a reference, this claim is ridiculous and clearly dishonest. Mind you, I'm not uploading proof by assertion. The post in question is located right above. I'm happy to see at least a single grain of intellectual truth. If you say so, but we all know what your claims are worth. I have no idea what you're talking about, though, an "I know you are, but what am I" is hardly something to be proud of. lets see, you reply to my arbitrary posts but ignore the one that you can't defend further because it's so poorly worded? and yet you have no idea what i'm talking about....

The board traces do not look strong enough. For instance, some Soundstreams had big problems with those, easily fixed though. The mosfets are "stressed" for the kind of power they should output.

Nightshade proto has been re-coned finally... added to for sale list. I say the sub is "noisy" -- but it is way quieter in operation than a DD 9500 series Not to scare anyone away, but it's not a sub that I would inverse mount.

According to the seller it does. Got the following in an email from the seller: I can tell you is that RE Audio aka Destij Engineering designed and build subwoofers for Ascendant Audio when they first started. The first generation of the Ascendand Audio Atlas and Avalanche were engineered and built at RE's location in Henderson. These were the exact same dustcaps. This custom prototype was designed for Ascendant Audio as something bigger than the Avalanche. Perhaps, the prototype version of the Havoc. Whether or not Ascendant Audio is willing to admit it or not, it is clear and evident that the engineering behind their first few generations of subwoofers were not in house…

hey do you have any way of measuring the T/S parameters of either the Konaki Hybrid or the X12?? If I can sell my 19Ov.2 than I'd be super interested in either one. I like loud daily bass lol Crap...just saw that the hybrids are dual 1 and the X12 is dual 4. I only have a Nine.1 amp. 900 watts enough for the X12??

I talked with the owner of this car this morning. He designed that box. He also mentioned that he had something to do with the design of the sub as well.....I'm now really thinking hard about what I'll use for my next system...

Width: 38" left to right (between wells) Length: 33" back to front Height: 18" top to floor Opening: The 17" is the trunk opening, as if you took a tape and measured from the top of the trunk (weather stripping) to the weather stripping by the rear bumper. The vertical 12" is from the top of the trunk (weather stripping) to where it intersects the horizontal 12" is from the trunk opening from the bumper. I think from the weather stripping to the floor was 20"
