i have a 2002 s-10 xtreme with a 4.3l. does anybody know if any company makes a turbo kit for my truck. id like to do intercooler and all if i could just let me know please

Nightshade proto has been re-coned finally... added to for sale list. I say the sub is "noisy" -- but it is way quieter in operation than a DD 9500 series Not to scare anyone away, but it's not a sub that I would inverse mount.

Will do. As far as specs. Sub is in a ported 2.5 cuFT box, alpine mrd1000 amp with stock electrical system. Amp worked fine on replacement sub. Amp gain is all the way down. Ive only had the sub for 6 months or so. did you pull the sub and check connection, and put a dmm on the coils?

sorry for all the replies guys...i think that if i played the volume higher the sub would eventually get louder but about 20 is where im playing it at and even then its almost to loud for my ears. i dont know if this has anything to do with it.

And just for the record, I've had systems in my car since I was 17yrs old and never have I purchased any of the products i'm "boycotting"....I did have a Power HX2 12" for a while but that was only due to me trading 2 MTX 10's for it. But beyond that, I've never owned any of the aforementioned products, and it's not like they're the only one's that make decent products in the car audio world. I talked with the owner of this car this morning. He designed that box. He also mentioned that he had something to do with the design of the sub as well.....I'm now really thinking hard about what I'll use for my next system...
