Test 1, 2, 3...

Im running a T20001bd to each fully loaded BTL.. how much output would I lose if i ran each sub in 3.5 NET compared to 5 net.? Tuned to about 32hz..

I got some motivation for you man! I sort packages at FedEx over night... ITS INTENSE! Its to the point of 3-4 packages a second sometimes! Thats reading 3-4 zipcodes, and moving those packages to one of two locations, or letting them ride on by to the secondary sorter! I SWEAT IN 30-40 DEGREE WEATHER WEARING SLEEVLESS SHIRTS! Its the most intense 4 hours of the day. Normally after that, I'll get to sleep 3-6 hours, then go deliver pianos for 6-10 hours on average, sometimes even over 12 hours. Just the other day, we moved a nice big piano up about 30 steps, and it was a piece of cake!!!!!!! I work out too! Sometimes after the piano job, when I get off.. I'll head home, …

Excellent write up. May be to much reading for teh nubs though.

One other thing to add. Substage does not exist. You may have subs, but not a sub stage. By definition something that should disappear isn't its own stage.

But then we run into more problems. We just brought on Hybrid, and those new guys that joined certainly are not NooBs.

Scott, this is above and beyond the call of duty. Hell of a great write up. As for the length, we could break of the topic by placing the areas of focus in their respective sections maybe.

I like this newb guide, good job Scott. Is it possible to direct the new members to the post after registering ? Or even suggesting them to read ? Not all would read it, but it would get a bit more attention IMO.

Call me a pessimist, but that's way too much reading for some of these people that can barely read/string sentences together. I would like to just see a LSQ sticky, explaining that if you want something that's loud but sounds slightly better than a rice burner at 6k rpms ten just say that. if you're more concerned with SQ but want to be able to show off the sub every now and again, say that. of course that's just a rant, but i think you all get what i'm saying

Can we put a disclaimer in there that says "Please don't use the terms SQ or SPL unless you are intending to use those products for competition. And SQL is non-existent." Or something to that effect. I'm thinking two birds, one stone. Very well done, Scott.

Which amp are you planning on now? Hifonics makes a lot of crappy amps.. Have you thought about two 8's possibly? The Ascendant Audio line makes a bunch of great sounding subs.
