i have my box almost finish and i was wondering should i go all out and put plexi windows and do he inside nice or just carpet the outside and be done?

im looking to have a box made for a pair or 10" dcons, ported, flush mount, and carpeted. max width is 24" max height 14". id like it to be the recomended size which i believe would be around 2.5 cuft not sure though and around tuned around 29-30 hrtz. just wondering what the cost would be with shipping to michigan.

For as long as I've been in car audio (not long), sub break-in has been a topic I haven't had a clear answer in. My question is, what T/S parameters will change once the woofer has had adequate break-in time, that is if any change (this would make me think its a myth). I've heard that the Fs of the driver lowers because the spider(s) loosen up, and if that is true would it also affect Qms of the driver? The reason I ask this question is regarding the Maw 15, would the break-in of this woofer affect which enclosure to stick it in? I am looking into buying the 15 or 18. I would like to say that I would rather get the 18, but that's not true. I want to get whatever will promote the best response with my trunk size. I have a 03 grand prix, and the height of the trunk is only 17 inches. The maximum dimensions the box width and length can be are 35 x 30. My main question is if the surround of the sub is only 1 1/2 to 2 inches away from the lid, will that decrease my response? With the 18 the dimensions would be 15 tall x 35 wide x 29 deep with the port firing into the cab tuned at 33hz. Will smaller actually give me the most bass? I'm not worried about SQ, just spl... Can i run 1500 watts RMS safely through a Fi BL?

You gave me a quote on a 12"xcon box sent to my house.Now ive been thinking about trying to do the 15". The space available is 36"w x16"h x 18" d sub up port back . Can you make a box to fit that and give me as close to the 4cubes needed and tune it to 32hz. Can go a little bit more on the height and depth if needed.

Here is some pictures of the carpet I offer. The top picture is a silver swatch of normal trunkliner material, a piece of black carpet which is what I prefer to use becasue it is much more rugged and personally I think has a better appearance. The board is half inch MDF to get a scale of the thickness of the carpet. The second picture is color swatches of the carpet I carry. I also carry the normal black, heather, and silver trunkliner.
