x2. He makes a good point on running a smaller battery bank because it's going to be on a stock alternator. The alt will not be able to charge those kinetiks I'm open to suggestions would 1600's be good or smaller. I'm still learning so use detail.

I need some pointers on how to begin my build. I have a 86 full size short bed chevy truck and there is no way I can get the kind of sound Im looking for with such little space behind the seat. I want to put the subs in the bed with a blow thru into the cab. Im not looking to compete in SPL or anything like that just want the kind of bass Im use to hearing (just sold my magnum and miss it already). Im running an Alpine CDA 9886 head unit and Kicker 3.5, 6.5 in the cab will be adding components soon. well right now on my profile ap1040 amp, i currently run on two channels (one eminence 6.5" and one boss tweeter combination) all ran on the hpf at 1.2k hz cuz thats the highest frequency range on that amp but my tweeters have bass blockers on them. so should i switch that up have on ch. 1 both tweeters and ch. 2 both eminence's, appreciate the help

Ok so I will stay at 14.4 I thought for sure this thing could take more, being a freaking HUGE.. lol These amps were a product of the early 90's when 12 volts was pretty much all we had to work with. Those are even more rare than my old 50C.

what enclosure size would you recommend for the Konaki hybrid?? Nevermind...didn't see that they were dual 1 ohm. All I have is a Nine.1 so .5 ohm isn't an option
