Test 1, 2, 3...

I have US Amp's MD.3D amp (2000 watts output), would it be necessary to add BP Power for this setup? Or will i be ok? Is there a differance in SQ or sound output without BP Power?

I wouldn't say that it is the greatest deal I have seen and think you can get it cheaper but I might be biased. And yes, that box is way too small for that driver.

Exactly I only want 1. And Dual 2 Ohm can only be wired to 1ohm & 4 Ohms loads. Where Dual 4 Ohm can be wired to 2Ohms.

It won't matter if you get a recone..from us..or somebody else..and do the same thing, you are going to burn it up again. The coils are wound the exact same way every time as they are done on a machine..positive and negative is always the same. If you had it wired wrong and had the coils out of phase with each other they will fight each other and something will burn. IE No sound! I made a video anyways for when you get a recone...just a helpful hint and a fyi, it is foolish to get a "Hybrid" made from somebody else...there is a reason behind why we use what we use in our subs. Hello, I am a new fan of FI CAR AUDIO and I just placed an order for a single BL 12" woofer. I also added the dual2, pchamfer,and the flatwind options. I plan on using it for daily "pounding" and at this time no SPL applications (maybe later with different project car!). The amp I have is a Rockford Fosgate 1000rms amp. I will definately upgrade to (2) speakers and possibly a second RF 1000rms amp when money permits!!! My questions are these: Should I have also included the "cooling option" in the purchase of my BL 12? and can I still add it now? or is it too late? If poss. (and it is recommended) then I would like to do so. Please inform me to how. gary

Thanks guys! forsure would get the 2 1500d's but i was just wondering, sice the sub is dual 1ohm, would i wire each amp to 1ohm, one to each coil, or 2 ohms or what?? never wired 2 amps to one sub.
