Dennis was kind enough to donate one of his vans to the cause of getting down and dirty on what I would call a budget-based high volume vehicle. well I recently got an SPL 12 and I was doing some "breaking in" with the wall outlet. well the top layer of paper on the cone started seperating from the rest, and the cap eventually came off during regular use. My question is: Do I recone using mach 5 parts, or should I look for a tougher recone? Also, until I recone I will continue to use the woofer (gluing the cap back on) until I've decided. One more question directed at Mark. Is there any way that you could get different cones in?

So we sent the prototyes of the FL1 and FL2 to Robin at BHE to test for us a few months back and since were new here I decided to post the results here. I had also sent the FL2 down to Taylor Fade in Baton Rouge to test as well. So here are the results that they came up with. I needed some air suspensions parts for a personal project and found it much cheaper to open an account with a supplier than to buy retail. So I now have access to a large aray of air suspension parts. I don't know very much about this area of expertise so I can't really recommend any specific product but if anyone needs anything I have access to most everything from valves, to 4 links, to pre fabricated sheet metal tubs and fender wells.
