how much should a t3000bd be sold for used

I'm not sure what I'm doing or not doing but this is my problem: I'm running a single Memphis MClass 12" sub in a 1.2cf sealed box that's powered by a USAcoustics2100 (300x1@4ohms/12.9v)in a '93 Altima sedan. My HU is a Pioneer 5500mp w/2v preouts, 2 cheapo (soon to be replaced) Jensen 5x7s in the front doors which are amped by a Hifonics Falcon (90x2 @4ohms). When driving around, w/the gains down on the front speaker amp, my average listening volume is around 20-30 (20 if my wife is with me) out of 62 (car's quiet inside and volume at 30 is plenty sufficient from front speakers). Any louder and the midrange and highs start screaming at me but toning down the mids/high…

Has anyone used anything other than the popular Second Skin, Raamat, etc....closed and open cell products with great results. I googled this topic and found several companies proving a wide range of products that have similar claims and prices that vary from the prices on popular car audio products both ways. Just curious. I'm thinking I may try something new.

what are some of your all time favorite songs to play/give demos to?

Well as much as it pains me to have done it the x-cons have been sold to stefanhinote. I was in the search of more SPL and i made a final decision on two 15" BTL N2s. Let me tell everyone now by no means are the x-cons quiet i recently got a 148.2 on music sealed. Thats in a box tuned to 30hz and not the optimal port area for spl. Mind you while doing this they sound simply amazing. Ill never stop supporting SSA and i can tell you guys now my next car will be another set of x-cons for everyday ground pounding. For now though i wanna compete and its time to move to something louder.

I currently have a Yamaha RV-V800 5.1 receiver and enjoy it quite a bit. I wouldn't go back to 'consumer brands' like sony, kenwood, jvc etc (no offense). well im runnin two 15 inch DP's off of an IA40.1,, have a slot ported box.. i got on the term lab today and hit a 147 with no tuning on anything.. after i get my tuning right and everything setup the way i want it.. im hopin to gain 2 or 3 DB's , so hope fully i can get it up to around 149 DB's.. just got to say thanks to scottie johnson for hookin me up with the subs and amp.. great combo, very pleased with it,, next season ill be adding two more 15 inch DP's and another IA40.1..

I'm going to be selling my rockford t1 15 but I'm going to build a new box for it. My current one is tuned to 38hz which is probably why my lows aren't to good. I want to try tuning it to 32hz unless someone has a better recommendation. This is the box I have right now - http://imageshack.us/a/img828/4849/imagesyn.jpg I want to keep the height the same, but knock the depth about 2-3inchs if possible, and my width can be bigger. I'm not very understanding of port size and how to get that tuning/and get the cubes it needs with the different size port.

both are regarding my amp(s) and/or system. 1) whenever i have my car running, the voltage on my sub amp used to read around 14.2-14.4v, at idle. now its only reading around 12v, at idle, which is what it used to read with the truck off. which brings be to the second problem regarding this. now instead of my amp going into protect mode at 10.5v like before, its dropping down to 9v on the display. i highly doubt that its going that low. i havent touched any of the settings since i tuned it with the DMM. im not sure if its the display thats messed up, the amps reading thats wrong, or if im actually dropping that low. btw, the amp is a ma audio hk4000d that i bought off of …

well i had ordered some items from someone over at CA.com Friday 9th. I received the image dynamic speakers thursday I believe without the sub. I couldn't imagine why I didn't get both of them but I just shrugged it off. Well.....I just got back from a trip and I told my parents about it and they said "Yeah, we have something to tell you." My dad hands me an envolpe that has nothing but a label and an aplogoy note from the postal service. Basically someone either A) stole my sub or B. lost the package which I have no idea how you lose something this big. so we are going to go talk to the people about this monday. I'm really bummed about it

Can you believe i finally got to meter the MOAB today ;D I got in the lane and they had the 30sec crapp going on and had a wackass burned cd none of the tracks were labled and only jumped in increments of 5. > i did the sweep and by the time i found the track with the tone my time was up > we only got 1 run... Rippoff but i did manage to get a 149.8db @ 5oHz ON THE DASH.

This is for a buddy at work. He has a 02 extended cab and doesn't want to remove his back seats so it needs to go under them. Has a prefab now he hates. Don't blame him. I'm having trouble finding any build logs on this phone like his. What have others done? No doubt he needs to build one just want to do some homework before sending him off. Thanks

I'm not sure about what RCAs to get.. I was planning to get some knu ones and I wasn't sure if the eKs were worth the 80 bucks or would it be better to get the next line down and put that 60 dollars toward something else? By the way, my amp will be a sundown saz 1500D

OKay first off i am looking for a new h/u to replace my current one! i DO NOT even know if a h/u like this exist or is even worth the cash! here is what i am looking for 3.5inch screen or bigger but not 7inch(touch if possible) 1.5din i currently have a kenwood 817 flip out h/u and i don't care for the flip out thing plus i don't watch movies all that much I can NOT fit a double din in my dash and single dins look a litlte crappy in my 1.5din mounting area. basically i want to get a 1.5din screen if possible, touch would be awesome. but maybe i am looking up the wrong seach idea's b/c i can't seem to find any! so i thought i would jsut post a thread and see what ppl kno…

Theres been many topics like this before on forums, people wanting comments and suggestions. It always comes back to what that person wants/likes. Ive got a system setup in mind and obivously am looking for things i should look out for, considering im quite new with sundown amps...any questions/concerns/coments/suggestions all welcome, but as i said i would like to stick with this setup. If there is something that is obviously better/ would work better with this setup i would like to know.... hello. i have a new alpine type R that does 600rms. i was going to get the SAZ-1000D when i get money ( so many good reviews) its perfect for 1 (at 2 ohms x 600rms) my question is will it be enough for 2 alpine type R's at 1 ohm ? 1000rms? ( buying another one later)

I am putting a new system in my girls car and was thinking about using some plexiglass on a sealed system. My question is though, how does this affect the sound? I have seen plenty of systems in magazines using plexiglass but never heard one, does it have an impact on the way it sounds or no.

I have a 09 charger my stock speakers in the front are 6x9 and my rear deck also has 6x9 ,i want to change each of them to the kicker 6.5" component sets could i run these off the saz 50.4?They say there 75 watts rms...

I need to test my old bd1000.1 but need to figure out what speaker wire is what to hook up to my line output converter. Nothing is marked in any way besides color. This is for a 06 impala without bose.all the power and everything is hooked up. Just waiting to test the rcas. The left rear speaker has brown and yellow and the right rear speaker has blue and light blue. Any ideas one which is positive and negative? I need to find out if this amp works or I'm gonna but a new one ASAP.

I'm kinda new to car audio. Right now I'm just running a sundown e8v3 on a boss armor 1500 which actually puts out the ammount I need. Anyway I really want to upgrade and be loud. I'm not about spl and hitting high dbs more about music and perceived loudness. I can work with about 3.5 cubic foot box. I'm considering either a fi q 18 or a fi bl 15. I just need advise on which would be better.

if i'm correct the better the RCA the better luck you have with not getting road noise right? so i know the best brands are monster, kicker, and RF. do you think kicker 09z series are worth the extra few dollars or should you just go with the cheap scorche RCA's?

Anyone have the Pioneer 3200BT HU? I have had mine for over a year now and I just recently bought the aux in/usb cable to play video from my ipod. Except there is one problem. . . I can't figure out how to get video to play on the HU, I have looked on the unit manual online and the video portion appears to be for a 3200DVD and when I am just using my Ipod it will play the music video's, but once I plug it into my HU I can get audio but no video. Anyone know how to fix this?
