well i just recently moved and had no intrawebz or cable for 3 days and well, i got damn bored. so i put some stuff together that i had laying around and well created me a hybrid perhaps? lol. i had my 04 XXX motor sitting around and well from my previous SX12 i still had the cone/coil assembly just hanging out. so i decided to put them together. the coils still threw a reading from the SX12 and everything was still in tact, the cone, spider. surround. right now it has new leads and spider is being glued to the basket. tomorrow i will take a 2.2cu sealed box i have set for a 15 and mount a new baffle over the original to accomodate the 12. i'm going to also cut 3-4, four …

Ok, first of all, whats the most impressive system that you've seen, in terms of small. Like didnt thumper's 10"s do like 141 db? Along the likes of small subs getting loud, or really loud single sub systems... And the other thing, my friend is asking me about the "G's" of some subs... What the hell? I recently purchased a btl 18 and a sundown 2000d which i guess puts out around 2500wrms. The problem is instead of going though a bunch of different enlosures to just ask the pros. I was personally thinking of walling off the front from the trunk. car is a 2000 coupe cavalier and theres a sound comp soon and would like some tips so any comments are appreciated. Im kinda a newbie when it comes to larger setups like this.

ok so i just checked my tweeters out today and their blown....so i was wondering what tweeters should i get ( i just need two) and the ones that blew were diamond audio s600 hex. Also should i use bass blockers this time because i believe that they blew because they were getting to low of a frequency.

Should the bass eq on my sundown amp be all the way down. I know my bass boost is supposed to be on 0. I have my subsonic filter on 30, enclosure tuned to 33hz.. crossover on 80.. Gain is about 80 too. To tune the amp right shouldent i turn up the volume all the way and make sure the gain is at 0 and carefully adjust, until you hear distortion turn it down a little?

So far from what I've researched, based on the music I listen to (Rap, ,etal, alternative i.e....Trick Daddy, T.I., Outkast, Linkin Park, Chili Peppers, and everything in between. ok so my stock tweets are going to sh1t, they make a static noise all the time. so im thinking of just buy some aftermarket ones instead of stock, but i have no clue what to look for in tweets. like soft dome, hard the different materials like silk, titanium, etc. so if someone could give me a crash course in tweets it would e awsome. all i ahve is the HU for power and NO crossover just those gay inline bass blockers. i know ghetto but i wasn't planning on upgrading them but this static is relly gay.

Ok im trying to decide on the wire i should get and i wanted to ask if any of you guys have tried them knu konceptz KLMX cable and like it. I also found 25 foot of monster cable 1/0 for 60 shipped i think im leaning for that unless you guys think the KLMX would work just fine.

I need 2.5 cubes @ 33Hz. The box will be 15Hx36Wx12.5D with 3/4mdf which should net 2.96cuft.Displacement 0.14cuft. Now the problem! Can anyone tell me what tune the box will have if I go 2.5Wx14L?? I think I am way off here. After adding .75 to the ports width for the wood wall I finished with 2.47cuft. Which is pretty close to the 2.5cuft goal. I am open for suggestions with the whole box and can trash the 15h x 36w idea. Also, would be great if I knew the exacts for finding a ported boxes tune in standard. hello everyone, my midrange speakers cut out once in awhile and make a snapping sound, i am running the front stage active , the tweeters sound fine. I'm using an alpine alpine cda-117 cd player and pxa-h100. has anyone ever had that problem? could it be the pxa-h100? thanks Brian
