hi, i have a pair of Adire Audio Extremis lying around for more than a year already. As i want to install them, what tweeters are best used or matched/suitable with it? planned to power with JL Audio 450/4 and using the onboard crossover. thanks

The face is copper carbon fiber. Got the pioneer f90bt, Focal 165vr, saz 1500d, sax 100.4 and other stuff.

Any suggestions on a quality RTA at a reasonable price?

My friend currently just got his first system. Its a 12" CVR with a 2.7 cuft. sealed box. The power is coming from a TXi 1008D (1000 watt) Hifonics amp. Now heres the issue. This system does NOT pound at all. It feels really "weak" if you say. Someone told me that the box is too big. Im not really sure. Heres a hint, when playing hoods run down, it doesn't get the last 3 tones. Its as if the sub is not even trying, there is no excursion at all. Any one have any ideas? Thanks. Ok I was just wondering I have always heard of ways people have tried to make there cars louder by doing simple things not really involving more power or better subs. one I can think of off hand is to bolt your box down to your car because if the box vibrates it makes you lose bass. I know I have heard of more just cant think of them. If anyone has any of them they would like to list and if there is actually any support to back them up let me know just thinking of little things to do or add to my car for no good reason.

Where can I find a reseller of Treo amps and speakers? I have Googled twice, and came up with nothing. I just want to find out pricing for now, as Treo are a bit slow sometimes with responding. Thanks

One of my friends wants a sub but cant spend more then $200 bucks. He has an after market head unit so no need for a converter. So I was thinking its about $40 for the wiring kit I have an old image dynamics 12 in a huge ported box just laying around I can sell him so he just needs an amp he has around $100 left to spend on one so any ideas on the best $100 amp let me know.

so im back, still trying to understand this whole audio thing lol. havnt had much time to look into it but i had an ohm question i thought i might be able to get a easy to understand answer of... basicly from what ive been reading and such, unless im mistaken which is why im asking here, a 1 ohm amp goes to a 2 ohm sub and a 2 ohm amp will go to a 4 ohm sub? and is there some sort of converter that allows you to go 1 ohm to converter to a 4 ohm sub? or have i just confused everyone and should keep reading lol?

This would be my first time getting an extra battery with a system and i have only a little knowledge on how to wire this. I am going to receive my AQ2200d and will be upgrading my stock alt to a 200A one and getting a yellowtop. So how am I supposed to wire all of this? Hello to my car audio friends this it my first time posting.. i have a burning question. I want to put 2 15" in my ride and i want to give it the most space as possible. The problem is i have read subs up port back is the best application but i could only get the most out of it with subs up port up... how much would i be missing out on both the meter and ear by doing subs up port up?.. is it a big no no in the car audio world to use such application? thanks for the help in advance..

hi, I just got a Kenwood DVD player with monitor (KVT-819 DVD) and when i tested it, i do get the sound but the screen is not showing any video. It is still at the playback menu but i see no buttons to press to show the movie. anyone familiar with Kenwood DVD player? thanks.

Yeh it only took me since april to put my system together and now everything is getting installed yeh baby. I've got my Saz1500d powering 2 Fi SSD 12's and a sax100.4 powering Focal 165vrs and 130cvx's. I got the jl audio 1/0 wiring kit all powered by a yellow top optima I'm having sound advice do everything including the big 3. And finally my Avic F90BT has come. What kind of music hits what hz? I listen to rap and some areas to me are real low. I get confused because I read and people say that rap is all in the 40-50hz range. And then I see that people tune their boxes to maybe 27-29. Is there a program out there that like plays music, then shows you where the hz level is at?

Just wondering if you guys knew from experience of how you guys find out these things. Its the 7 speaker JBL premium system. Subwoofer mounted in rear deck IB, mids in doors, and two tweeters up front. Just looking where to find info on replacing these or anything like that. I've heard that the subwoofer craps out pretty easily and so I've just been looking for a way to replace it if need be with an aftermarket!
