ive been blabbering about it for months.ive done my comparisons and looked at these and looked at those and ive finally decided that i am going with Audioque...sooo i bought a single audioque sdc2.5 10... if this subs lives up to my expectations then ill be buying 7 more very soon...yes i said 7 for a total of 8...these will eventually be walled off in my truck but for now theybe going in my current box.which is a design by Pete at hexibase.ill build a a few different boxes for it and test them all.. pics and updates when it arrives...im on my last leg when it comes to 10inch subs so i hope this works out..

Did a 149.4 on music sealed on dash Iasca style. Did a 152.4 outlaw on music and burped a 152.9 at 39hz. Did all that with a 29hz tuning on hdc3's!

  7. Dads got a ford 2009 f250 super duty that has got the disc changer with sync system. He took it to the dealer and when he got it back the cd player was f***ed like they shoved a disc in there and it got stuck. Of course they said they did not do it. So i am going to try to install a new head unit do i have to wire the sync system back in with the expensive harness or is there a way to bypass that If you got any info or ideas on this please let me know i thought around $100 is high for a wiring harness Thanks Kevin

Hey all So I'm going to be installing an 18" Nightshade in my trunk, and I have been trying to come up with a workable solution for a box design. Been sifting through threads but haven't really seen too many builds with a sub back/port front design or vice-versa. It seems that any other design would take up the entire trunk with little room for any other equipment. This is what I'm proposing: Top down view of the trunk. The yellow dashed line is the rear deck, about 19" total height clearance. The grey dashed line is the recessed spare tire well, about 6" or so deep. Box sides and top would be built as to contour around the wheel wells. This would be the view from the ba…

I put some in the hatch area of my car (97 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport) today and down in the spare wheel area but that's about as far as I got because I was getting too hot and hungry. I'll work on the rear doors and back seat area next week, then work my way forward from there. After I got cleaned up I drove down the road for some ice cream and maybe it's just the CD I put in (the new Big & Rich) but the subs kind of sounded... softer? But I also think they were a little cleaner sounding. Is that normal? Is that one of the properties of sound dampening? I guess I was expecting an opposite result, thinking it would focus more of the sound towards me. I prima…

  13. .............. I don't have that much $$$ flow right now and my current setup of 2 JL 10"s just aren't doing the trick. I was offered a box that holds two 12"s but I don't know the dimensions of the box (it was in an 88 Camaro) ........ I was wondering what would be a cheap way for me to get by with some good sounds........... I was thinking maybe 2 Rockford HX2's and some somewhat cheap amp............ any help/recommendations would be largely appreciated........ Thanks, Jonathan Idk...... maybe some Audiobahn's or something......... I'm up for any info or recommendation........ Thanks …

I was thinking of tuning a 15" BL at 32-36 hz when I told my buddy he said I have it completely wrong. He told me that the tuning is way too low, and that hes going to be tuning his new box to around 50 hz. He told me simply because music is higher than the 32-36 range, and that I should be tuning in the 40's. Could someone explain this to me, thanks.

I have receantly been forced out of my 97 cobra, thanks to a drunk driver. I have found a box with .42 qubic feet per side, for 2 10's. what kind of recommendations can I get. I was running 2 12's hollywood speakers off of a bazooka amp I think it was 700w. but not turned up maybe 1/2 way. I have been told that your companies speakers are worth the money. I have yet to see another hollywood, hopefully yours will last as long. So looking at the above mentioned air space, which 10's, and what amp? price ranges might help. Thanks, chris

Here is the planned system. 1995 s-10 blazer is the ride. High output alt (200-300 amp output). Yellow top optima up front. Two, for now, Kinetik khc2400 batteries in back. Four MA Audio hk802sx amplifiers. Two channel high current amps rated at 4400 watts RMS x1 @1ohm. We are guessing with full power behind them they will put out about 3500 watts each. Four FI Audio BL 15s. My question is this. Should a guy run two or four runs of 0 gauge wire to the back? Please explain why you say which one. I think two will work as the two of them can transfer around 600 amps through thier 13-14 foot lengths and that is about all that is available from the alt and battery…
