alrighty, im gonna be making my box soon for my single cab truck. the dementions are (L)36" x (H)27" x (D1)3" x (D2)9". That is cutting it realy close because its 2.291 cubic feet. im going to run 2 kicker 12" compVR's which need 1 cubic foot at a minimum. im making it sealed so i have to make the two chambers, so will that 3/4" wood in between the subs reduce the volume to less than 1 cubic foot?? also, that is going to be right up next to my seat and i can't move it anymore closer (i'll be kissing the wheel) do i have to change the depth so it won't hit my seat???

So I recently ordered one 15 in icon. my question is what box should I get for it...such as thickness ..size..Hz...ect

I would like to know what voice coils I'd need to wire 6 sub as close to .5 ohms as possible thanks

I'll be powering an sa-15 w/SAX 1200d, and some ID xs-65 w/SAX 100.4 Plan on getting the Kolossus Fleks 0 Gauge Power Amp Kit, some 40ft of 16 guage KarmaSS, 2 Krystal Kable rca's, and a KONfused distributor for about $160, all from knu clearly. I figure 16guage should be good enough for speaker wire What fuse type and amperage is appropriate/recommended to be in the first foot of the battery for my power line? What size fuses should I get in the distro block for each line? Hey i got the 2 12" Bl's and you designed me the box, had the box built for 400 bucks, got the amp installed and the subs slam, insane man im so happy i went with FI, i have a kicker 2500 on the subs, but quickly just want to know about break in, i have them playing kinda hard right now but my amp isnt putting out the correct wattage im only getting about 15 volts, and i need 70.7 for 2500 watts at 2ohms, my gain is up to max and i use bass boost, but im getting no distortion so im guessing im ok? sorry i couldnt take more time to write this out but im at work and going quick

Hi I am working on a school project showing the most extreme end of car audio. Meaning not your basic radio and door speakers. I will be covering everything from the difference in products and competitions. The time limit is 8 minutes to present so I will not be going into fiber glassing or anything like that. So far I have a Kenwood KVT-911 DVD, 2 12" JLW7's, Audiobahn 2300HCT { I know you guys hate Audiobahn, but I got it the year it came out brand new in box for $100 and 2 very old pioneer IMPP's} that has never even been used, I plan to run it at 1ohm. I am now looking for a nice used 4 channel amp for around $100 on craigslist, I want 65-75rms per channel. What kind of music hits what hz? I listen to rap and some areas to me are real low. I get confused because I read and people say that rap is all in the 40-50hz range. And then I see that people tune their boxes to maybe 27-29. Is there a program out there that like plays music, then shows you where the hz level is at?

Ok, well i just finished installing my btl and i decided to just drill holes in the box to run wires through to my amp and i used silicone to fill in the holes, so my question is how long should i let it set up before i decide to turn it up safely to tune it with out blowing a hole through the silicone? btw for what it matters i live in middle ga. so its really humid all the time plus its been raining last two days, ive heard that will play a factor in its cure time?

So I'm going to be redoing my system in a few weeks or months and everything is practically RE audio and Us amps I already have the subs but im still looking for the amp and the speakers and there amp just about it. For the amp its between the SAE 1200 and the Us amps Md1d. For some speakers i dont really know but i ve been craving these in my doors and some tweeters so they can match the subs. well i went to connect the positive run of wire and as i started disconnecting the battery the alarm kept going off i went ahead and finished disconecting the battery then connected the positive run of wire then as i was reconecting it the battery the alarm started going off again then i tightened it all the way then waited for the alarm to go off then i tried to start the car and only the battery will go on it wont click or anything when i take the key out the alarm beeps what do i do?

I think I am giving up on the idea of going active until I become a bit more knowledgeable about the sound I would like and mounting locations that best suit me.
