ok i have my big 3 done with kicker hyper flex and a kinetik hc1400 in the back. i used to run a us amps md2d wired to 1.33 ohms and never had any problems at all with the lights dimming. now i have my precision power 850.1 running a sundown sa and i noticed when i was in town other night , that at higher volumes my lights blinked a little but nothing too major. i just thought this was weird because the md2d never caused this. i have 4 gauge ran to the amp.. i have the gain set a little over 1/4. its running at 1 ohm. ssf set to about 30 and lpf somewhere around 80. bass boost on the amp and head unit off. any suggestions on how to stop this besides gettin a new alterna…

Ive been told to just get 1 10 in a custom box on another forum, but was hoping an emloyee would help me more. I was planning on getting 1 BTL 10/12/15 but dont know which would be best given the room in a camaro trunk. ok since i heard that ED is not a good company as far aas supporting problems with their subs i have decided to go with either the SSD or Arsenal 15 when i input them into WinIsd it says the SSD has more outout but the arsenal has a higher rear air port velocity and SPL just wanted to know which one would be louder i would be putting about 650 to the arsenal and about 900-1000 to the SSD with the flatwind coil option all help is appreciated oh and i want to use about 4 cubes net

Hello guys I have a 1995 Mercedes E320 Sedan, and have been figuring out what I should upgrade my amazing skar evl-12 in a 34hz ported box with and I think the best bang for buck option that will make a noticeable difference is the sundown sa classic series from yardsale. I will be powering it with the same amp that I use on my skar(a sundown sfb-1500d), I know they can handle more the 1700w rms but my electrical system will be overdriven if I keep upgrading amps, I think I will put 2 sa classic-12s in a 4.5 cubic ft box tuned to 35hz slightly bigger than the manufacture recommends. The speaker wire with a negative and a positive. The gold and the silver. When I go to wire my sub for 2ohms which part of the speaker wire to do I run from negative to positive? I'm sure its a simple answer I'm just retarted.

Why does one need two RCA cables (i.e. red and white) to plug into a mono channel subwoofer amplifier? It seems to play just fine with only one "channel" plugged in... Why is the subwoofer output "left and right"? Thanks for answering my stupid question.

I have a whine sound i my front speakers, sorta like an alternator whine . It get a little louder with motor rpms. But here is the odd thing, it only does it when car is really hot and when i take it out of garage and its hot. If its night time or cool outside and car has been seting outside no noise. Any ideas on what it could be? oh and its only two of the four channels on the amp making noise.
