I need 4 yards of the silver comfort suede that select product sells. SP actually calls it gray but looks silver to me. Part # CSUEDEGREY Now that SP is dealer only, I'm kind of screwed. I can't find what I need anywhere else so my headliner remains unfinished! Thanks!

My friend just bought an SA 15 with a SAZ 1500D v2(used) I told him that amp is too much for that sub but he said nah he knows what he's doing. Now he's calling me and asking me how can he power the sub without blowing it. Lol. I don't know what to tell him as I've never overpowered a sub and wanted good results before lol. Any tips on how to do so? Thanks in advance.

I just got a 09 crew cab 1500 chevy silverado. I currently have quite a bit of equipment from my old builds, but none will really fit in the truck. It's all 6.5" speakers in the doors and tweets up front in the a-pillar. I'll probably be selling some of my stuff to pick up speakers that will fit. I have had nothing but good come from focal, so I was thinking of staying with them. I was thinking of going either with the Access or Polyglass lines. The K2's get a bit expensive and Utopia is out of the question. Also, what is your advice on running them from the HU (Alpine IVA-W200). I'm leaning towards it probably won't be worthwhile and likely get an amp... I have a…

I've done quite a few installs in the past, but they've always been on older vehicles. I now have a 2008, and I honestly don't trust myself to install an LOC and amp. I contacted two shops that I've done business with in the past, and both quoted me at $65 for the install. Now I need to decide which one to go with. What would be the best way to pick one? I've seen work done by both and they both do a very good job. One of them is a member of the BBB and has an A+ rating. The other is not a member and has one complaint against it in the last 36 months, which was administratively closed (BBB said that the shop made an offer to repair, but the customer did not accept the of…

I'm an older guy, just turned 40 and have gone through many installs in my earlier years. I've had some good installs by shops and I've had total crap installs. Well I wouldn't say the installs were crap but the bass setup was. I would say the worst problem I have ran into with installs is the box builds were wrong for the speakers of choice. I have always bought quality subs for my installs but often the boxes were build wrong. I've even pissed of installs by telling them to rebuild the box because the bass sucked. That even happened in a Camaro once, where bass should be easy to do. I've also learned that less can mean more too. Subs need plenty of box space. S…

Well guys im on a super tight budget for my next build so im looking for someone in the Charlotte/Mooresville, NC area that will allow me to use there tools to cut the wood for my next box. Im in an apartment complex and i have no means of getting it done and pretty much all local shops want from 500-1000 to build an 9 cube box and to me that's ridicules. My last box cost me 35 for the sheet of wood and my time to build. If anyone out there wood be willing to let me use there stuff or cut the wood for me for a small fee id much appreciate it. Thanks, Alan

Ok, I'm going to attempt to build a box. I was just wondering about the bracing. Basically I have two 3/4" panels I can use for bracing. Should I glue both together, to have one solid 1.5" brace. I was thinking I would mount the sub off-center, so I could put the brace more toward the center (if I do it this way). Or, should I keep the sub in the center and use a panel on both sides? Thanks for your help P.S. If you need to know specs, it will be a 15" w/ 500w in a 2 cu. ft. box

I have gotten a copy of Disc 4 from a set that was sold on SD. It has polarity tracks, left and right channel test track, test tunes and a whole bunch more. A good test CD if anyone is looking. I will make copies at 7$ and mail the USPS, hopefully shipping them like Blockbuster does won't break them. Anyone interested?

I have a Eclipse CD-8053 which I bought for the SQ level it has. I LOVE it and do not want to give it up. Any idea if there is a way to get Sirius Radio to play through the deck? I live in an area North of Dayton OH. All the Radio Stations point there sat's South towards Cinci... Therefore my reception just sucks. I listen to the Radio when I am in Dayton, but listen to CD's when home, because my SQ system really brings out the Hiss's and Pops! Any help for me??
