I am looking to spend around 3-4K on a full system every tiny from a head unit to audio treatment, 2 12” sub and everything but I have no idea what I am doing haha I want to go with a full rockford Fosgate setup, any help is much appreciated the shops by me refuse to sell me Rockford lol ps I drive a 2018 Toyota Camry SE

Alright got my SAZ3000 in today, all installed.. went to set gains and couldn't get any voltage out of the amp.. 39volts is what I got with gain all the way up.. aiming for 50 (3000watts). Lowpass was set fine, subsonic wasn't set too high, bass was on the HU. Pretty stumped right now. Also the subs are at 1 ohm.

My alpiine cd player has started to randomly cut off and come back on while playing. I can be goin down the road listening and all of a sudden it just turns off completely and then immediately comes back on. The equip is as follows: Alpine deck AQ 1200.1 amp AQ HDC315

I have a pair of Koda 6.5's that are not going into my truck. I also have a set of Orion P6.5's comps that will not go into anything now... eh. I have one question only, dont hate just answer I am deciding between the BL 12 and the Icon 12, I know these subs are made for somewhat different applications but jus bare with me. Both these subs are put in ported boxes made specifically to standars and hooked up to a saz-1000d. Which one is audibly louder?

so i bought some ppi sedonna components and i just know got around to hooking them up and hooked up one of my crossovers and it would play anything out of the tweeter outout. i thought it could just be a bad connection but redid the wires and it still wont play switched to my other crossover and it plays fine. just wondering if anyone can help me figure out how to fix it??? thanks

I currently have a 12" FI BL in my car with a US Amps MD1D. I am looking at maybe putting another one in and I have a few questions. How big should the box be? FI recomends 2.5 cu. for one so when you have 2 do you double that? I have a dual 2 ohm so I would get another dual 2. I have a Hifonics 1206D sittin around so should I use that or buy a amp that is .5ohm stable? Like a Lazar Opti2000D. Or a big amp that can give around 2000 watts at 2 ohm. Would I need a bigger alt. current one is 120amps and I have a Kinetic 1400 batt. in the front and am going to look into getting a smaller batt. for the trunk.

I have the Pioneer AVH-p3200bt, so it has the Aux in and USB on the front. I want to be able to play videos on the HU from the Ipod. Is this the cable I will need? Ipod Cable

Well, those of you that read the build log know of he troubles I've had with my system and car. Combine that with the fact that we traded the Jeep in on the wife's new G35 and I'm left with nothing to haul stuff in. The decision has been made to sell my car and get a truck. I have been thinking of different designs. Is there any issues with mounting a subwoofer in the inside port wall facing the port? I know the velocity from the port would be directed across the face of the sub, would this cause cancellation? Or would it depend on volume of the port? Any input is appreciated. Chad

A few weeks ago, I noticed my sub randomly get quiet and loud back and forth ONLY while driving. When I'm at a red light or stopped for any reason, it plays a lot quieter than it should be (literally half the volume that it is when it's loud). When I accelerate, it goes back to normal temporarily. For a few days, it did the opposite. When I braked, it got loud, and when I accelerated it got quiet. This has been driving my crazy. I checked my wire connections at my amp and they were fine. I had autozone check my battery and alternator and they were good. I even checked the voltage myself on my battery and it was fine. I am wanting to put 4 5x5 mid-bass driver under the back seats of my SUV. The question is, will a mounting board be sufficient or should I build an enclosure that'll fit nicely under the back seat?

SIIIIIIIKE lol. I made this in my InDesign class (one of my throwaway classes to fill my schedule up)and I think it actually turned out decent. DON'T HATE on the Meade picture, I needed a face-offy picture and that one was perfect. Just thought I'd throw this up here since it has SSA references on it. Since I got back into car audio I have stayed away from the so called "Mainstream" brands when it came to my amplifiers and subwoofers. What sold me on the smaller companies was the customer service and the ability to talk to the owner/owners either through the forums, email or direct phone call. I think we all know what forum all these great companies are a part of.... :bigclap: What are the horror stories you have had with companies with poor customer service?

ill be fg'ing some a pillar pods as well as sealing large (roughly 2' by 1.5') holes the 2 fronts doors. the A pillar pods are for one 3" fullrange driver (on each side). im looking for a good site or store to buy the amount of products i will need to complete these projects? later ill be posting question on how to do the fiberglass since this will be my first time.. i have a rough idea of how to do it but im sure ill run into problems... so im just just looking for some rough figures on how much shit i need to buy to get this done, as well as, a cheap retailer. thanks

Hey guys! If nobody knows the answer to this question, then no big deal... Ok, I have a Kenwood X-395 deck hooked up to a rockford prime 400-4 (via 4-chan RCA) and i was wondering if anyone has tested this deck on a DD-1 or o-scope and could tell me at what volume level it distorts. (By "it" i mean the deck itself, of course). By ear, i estimate it to be around 28 to 30 (the range is 0-35). I dont have access to either tool so i'll just stick with my ear if nobody knows, but if someone out there does know and could tell me that would be great! Thanks!

I'm putting in a new system 300 amp alternator 4x khc 2000 and yellow top under the hood on a IA 40.1 amp. The subs still thinking about what I should run with this amp any suggestions? I would like to keep the volts at 14.4 no lower than 14.1. Can some tell me how I can do this without have any voltage drop? Do I need to set up the system for 16v to keep the volts at a steady 14.1 or higher?
