I was wondering do yall use the loud button on the head unit??? also what is it for?? i know when i push the button the speaker thump harder and the little speaker sound more louder.

Hey guys, I've decided to run with the Zv4 on my Sundown SAZ-2000D, can't wait to see the lows this thing hits! Anyways I have my box design, thanks to Joe X! It was originally planned for an X12 but I think it might work for my Zv4. I'll be pushing the full potential of the SAZ-2000D to this sub @ 1 ohm. I have a 270A Mechman alternator coming soon! Is the remote knob a separate volume for the amplifier or separate EQ for the amplifier? Do all these remote knobs do the same same thing? Hifonics's"Bass Boost" RF's "Remote Punch EQ" Kicker's "Remote Bass Level" If I already have my EQ tuned to the music that listen to, do I need a knob ?

A couple of times this week I noticed, at first smell, what seemed to be the odor of cigarette smoke in my 4Runner. Although I just bought this vehicle a few months ago, neither I nor the previous owners are smokers. When I arrived at work this morning I detected the odor again. Should have both of my 15" Xcons this week and I also bought two of there hand made boxes.(nice stuff) When I mount the subs in the new boxes should I drill a small pilot holes first? My trunk rattles so freakin hard and my backwindshield moves. And some of my songs that play i can hear the trunk rattleing over the bass but others i cant am i losing bass from the trunk??

My roomate was watching me design a t-line and said "hey, I can make one better than that, all you have to do is make a maze and throw speakers in" I told him the principle of a t-line and he said "watch, mine will revolve around the speed of sound." This is his product and it is the ultimate subwoofer enclosure! Just thought I'd share... I may have to incorporate mewtwo and jedi in to my next enclosure...

ive got one Fi SSD15 on about 1200 rms in a ported box at 37 hz in the turnk of my 525i. i saw some alpine subs on sale online, the new Type-E's for real cheap, I was thinking about buying those 4 12s, or 3 JL audio 13 inch W1s, and sealing them up in a box. what do you think the overall difference in soudn would be? i'm assuming a louder (more surface area, same power) and cleaner (sealed) sound?

i have 2 bl15's and a saz 3000d my box is somthing like 6 foot after displacement....... i really wanna go 2 15 btls and add another 3000d and i have 4 5x7 alpine type r comps and a sax 100.4.... i would like more output, goals... well... im bored... i want more..... im open to talk about diffrent subs and diffrent ideas. rap, hard hitting low ground raping rap...... and some rock here and there,.
