Where is the best place to buy Knukonceptz 1/0 gauge wire for the cheapest price? And I also need suggestions on the best place to run my wire in my 2011 mazda 3. Right now I have Knukonceptz 1/0 gauge and the only place I could wire it was under my center console then I came out the side (driver side) and under my seat, and I don't know how to get it into the trunk of my car with it being un noticed, how can I hide it going through the back seat area into the trunk?

So I installed my system on wednesday and Im having a problem with my bass cutting out at higher volumes. If I turn it down it comes right back. I would say it cuts out around 2/3 volume depending on the song. i also tried with the sub gain in a range of position from 0 to half with it set on the radio at the center position. I checked the amp and the blue light stays on the entire time and no other lights come on. I used expanding foam in a can to seal off my trunk. I used it around my subwoofer enclosure and in a metal cavity between the rear seats and trunk. I let it dry for over 16 hours. This morning on my way to work I was listening to my audio system for the first time since sealing off my trunk with expanding foam. The difference in sound volume and quality is extremely noticable. After I arrived at work I went to put my rear seats back up and I noticed un-dried expanding foam had seeped out of a metal cavity and dripped on my XCON's cone. I really expected all of the foam to be dy after +16 hours. How should I clean/remove the expanding foam from the XCON cone? I read th…

Had a 12" Fi BTL off 2500RMS in a 2.70cuft box @ 30Hz. Trunk setup. Have a different car now and was thinking 2x15" @ 600RMS each, sealed in rear seat area, facing forward (or backward). Was looking at RE Audio SEX series. Just wondering how it would compare to the BTL. Would the two 15's move more air? How would the lows be, and of course SQ difference be?

I was searching the topics around here looking for glassing the interior of a sub box, and didn't find too much. My question is. My sub calls for 1 inch MDF but my installer says he will use 3/4 and glass the inside to "keep the weight down". Do I have anything to worry about as far as flexing and structual integrity? I want to do a sealed enclosure about 1.6cu.ft. Are there any other suggestins for a sealed box? I want to do it right the first time as my funds are a lil limited. Hey thanx guys!!

Heys guys I will be building my sub box for 2-15inch NS subs come this summer and I had a quick question. first of all here is my box. see how the subs are firing DOWN and the full weight of the subs is on that one board, well i am going to need to support that board somehow. The 2 subs weight about 60~lb's each so 120lbs total will need to be supported. a friend told me to just use a piece of wood (dowel) and screw it from both ends and then glue it and not worry about it. but then i started to think over time due to vibration and temperature change would the screws start to lose their grip and potential come out or something of that nature? so i thought about threa…

So I had made a topic on this b4 I think but I just received my Sundown Audio SAE 1200d from Fedex and I was all happy and so on, Till I started opening it and I see on the bottom of the Sundown packaging that it is made in CHINA !!! Not really a big fan of CHINA products due to so many problems in the past so hopefully nothing will go wrong with my amp!

Hello all, Set up: IVA-W205 with Blackbird 2 docked: Problem 1: Alpine unit sees Ipod and plays and displays info but absolutely no audio, can't hear a thing. Sirius, CD changer, DVD all work correctly. Problem 2: With Blackbird docked and using bluetooth, caller can hear me but I can't hear them. INT settings all correct per Alpine. I sent the unit into Alpine and was told there was nothing wrong and everything checked out. Am I missing something??? Thanks in advance!

The question: Assuming I have the electrical to run 3000 watts at a stable voltage, would it be and audible difference from 2000 watts just on a daily setup? This is not for numbers at all. Simply for listening experience. I've heard answers coming from both ends.. I don't want to spend an extra 100-200$ on another 1kw if it's not going to be any louder to MY ear than 2000 watts. I have a planet audio ac400.1d mono block amp and want a subwoofer around 1000 watts rms that's not to expensive .. I found an audiopipe txx bd3 12 for $147 and also saw a Massive Audio toro x 12 for $185.. Don't kno which one to get .. Should I just get the audiopipe or save a little more money up for the massive toro x 12?
