ok im in a dilemma, i am trying to figure out which box to use for a d915d2 being powered by a US AMPS ax1000de at 1 ohm. Are they ok to use as a primary and secondary??? I can get a great deal on 2 blue top Optima Battery's. I want to use one under the hood (for the truck), and a second one inside (for the system).

Can someone help? Like a how to with doors. Do you spray the inside of the door and cover the holes with that rubber matt type stuff? Do you use it on your fire-wall as well as all over? What about that foam stuff to fill up holes? Is it a good idea? OR spray cans of deading spray? I would love a good writeup from someone that can help and mabe everyone can add some things and we make it a sticky? Thanks guys!

i was taking my rear deck lid out then i wanted to turn my system on and the subs didnt work...the little blue thin wire came out (the remote wire i think) and i need to know where to put it.its connected on the sub amp i just need to know where the other end goes....im pretty sure it doesnt go on my cap but i dont know alot about that.......thanks guys

ok so i bought some permatex rubberized under coating that im gonna lay some coats on the trunk and the rear deck lid and see if thats helps with the rattle in my trunk...i think it will....i dont know if alot of people have used this before but i heard a couple of people that used it and said it worked pretty good....only $13 for 3 16oz cans so pretty good deal if it works.

OK this is what I have, 1-12" single 4ohm PG Xmax sub PWR 400 wavelength amp-600wrms @ 4ohms and clarion x-over pioneer deck box is 2.5cuft tuned to 30hz, with-in specs of what PG suggests. gains are set correct. This is what happens, I play a song like, Late night tip or some lil john, songs that I think hit pretty low, and SHIP does it get loud and low, but as soon as I put on anything that has hard bass, it doesn't get near as loud I mean nothing, nothing short of cranking it and adding bass boost will help, but this isn't what I want to have to do. Does the direction the port is facing matter very much? What would the best direction be in this setup? 12" RL-p downfiring in an extended cab nissan frontier. The box will be ~2cubes tuned to ~30Hz. Would it be better to fire out the side towards passenger side, out the top, or forward toward drivers seat. If anyone has experience with this truck specifically that would be great, but just ideas would work.

Ok so I bought 2 IDW 15's after reading the spec sheet and it saying I needed 1.5-2cu ft sealed... After asking about it I hear IB and giant boxes are what it needs from squeak over on CA.com.. After searching the net it seams most people did IB installs with the IDWs... so does anyone here have experience with non-IB installs on IDW's... The only two thought I have are seal off the entire cargo area with plexiglass (ummm I'd rather sell the IDW's) or make a box the size of the entire cargo area level up to the seat backs... I could swing this, I'll measure it tonight to see how much space this would give each IDW...

I want to put my 10o in the room for HT use.....but the spot i have picked out for it it a lil close to the tv....and putting the sub there doesn't create a lot of friendship between the two...is there any way to shield the enclosure/driver so i can use it there....? i can always relocate it....i'm just asking cause i really like how it looks there
