do you feel that satellite radio, either XM or Sirius is worth the $13 a month? what about the qualities and features of the receivers? cost of them? what do you look for in a receiver? what would you like in a receiver? is the sirius s50 worth the msrp tag of $350 (or so)? i have a few thoughts, but need some input. there could very well be a new receiver on the market soon....lol....with a nice kick to it. wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Hi,can someone tell me if equalization can go bad in car cd receiver. I no longer have any crisp highs and midrange.I checked all my connections and even went and purchased new jbl 6x9 and still no highs.Could this be my stereo,thanks!

i've got a nine.1 for my 12's, and an orion 8004 im going to power an alumapro alc 6.2 component set with. im planning on running the mids off 2 channels and the tweets off the other 2. im thinking of buying these rca's http://cgi.ebay.com/Stinger-4-Channe...QQcmdZViewItem but i didnt know if it was cool to use a 4 channel set like that with 2 of them running the components (split with a stinger helix y cord on each one, so the mids and tweets will both be playing the front channel) and the other 2 used for the bass on the nine.1. they should be fully shielded so this is cool right? also how do i want to wire the amp up? i just bridge 2 of the channels with the 4 ohm mids…

what is the length or volume of a vent in a 2cu ft ported box tuned to 28hz supposed to be? I am trying to figure out a way for my sealed box to have the ability to add on a vent to turn it into a vented box. Suggestions.

Maybe I'm just getting old and bitter. Maybe I'm maturing. Or maybe it's just my depression talking. But I'm almost tired of car audio anymore. Everything is a hassle. Any setup I'd actually want to have in my car would require a major modifications and about two months of installation. Running wire is a pain in the ass. Sound deadening can kiss my ass. Cramming yourself into positions and spaces you never thought possible to install anything is getting old. And you do all this work just to shove some overpriced audio equipment into an acoustic hell hole that will sound worse than even a mediocre bookshelf setup. Hello everyone... i have been guided to this place by Bass Outlaw Am new to the Car audio world..and i would like to learn more.. as a start am driving a 2005 corolla xli , the stock Head Unit got casset and a CD player.. hooked with 4 speakers (stock) i would like to increase the Clarity of the Sound, and Also get some Moderate Bass...
