im going to need one, i want something high quality that will remote start, pop my hatch and be able to signal a pager, or come with one. i want as much pager range as possible. i dont know much about alarms, i had a viper on my old camaro and it was decent but this was 4 years ago. how difficult is it to install, because the shops around here want insane amounts of money, like 600 for an installed alarm. i was thinking i'd spend 150-300 on the alarm and add ons, then spend a few days installing it. anyone know of any forums like this but for alarm information?

I was just wondering what people listen to, to achieve deep bass.... Not just test tones and sweeps. Like songs..... I have been listening to Lil Whytes new Cd. There are a couple songs on there that hit extremely hard. ~MadroX

First my previous system was; (2) 12 inch Powerbase Extreme Subwoofers (About 800 Watts RMS Each) (1) Elemental Designs NINe.1 amp (1200 RMS at 14v) I sold my turbo g35 and now have a 2006 Dodge Charger (Ya it has a hemi ) I listen to Rap, Hip Hop, and R&B. I always love deep bass, my previous subs went deep on a couple songs. Higher bass tones are always great too. I was wondering what you guys think I would be happier with or what would be louder; 1 15 inch fully loaded Fi BTL or 2 12 inch Fi SSD's As for an amp what do you guys suggest. I think 1500 - 1800 RMS would be good enough for me. I really dont want to upgrade electrical in my car, just do the big 3. Budge…

Sub Stage - Three 12" Fi SSD's Sub Box - Custom box with 1.1cu ft per woofer Sub Amp - Sundown Audio SAZ-1500D Wiring - All Stinger 1/0g, stinger RCAs, stinger distribution blocks, etc... Hi guys, I just receive my Power Master Batteries 2x D3100 which will be installed each side in the trunk and 1x D5100 in the front not installed yet because i've cut the trunk floor which i will modified it so i can get more room for an ported box and to hold the 2x D3100, but I'm looking for an shop to do that job (steel job and welding) And for wires I'm thinking of 4x runs of 1/0 gauge KnuKonceptz from front to the D3100's in the back, 2 runs for each D3100's and from there 1x 1/0 awg and 1x 4awg for 1x MD-21 and 1x MD3D at each sides. I went to home depot today, and the thickest mdf they can get is 3/4". Does anyone sell 1" mdf? Also what do you use to cut your boxes? Jig Saw, Table Saw, Circular Saw? What do you use to cut the sub circle? Jig Saw? What type of screws do you use. Coarse Dry-wall screws? Etc... I tried to build my first box, and it came out pretty miserably. On sub is flush mounted, the other on isn't, lol stuff like that. And the box was port starved, woops.

ok ,well i have a guy who does his own beat and is working on becoming a producer and all. Right now I think he works in radio. But i think i may ask him to make me a test CD and tracks and wondering what you guys would like in a test CD. I know i would have tracks of just tones from 10hz-200hz and sweeps from 100-20khz if possible. But what else. And do you guys think 10$ per CD is a good price?

I saw lots of songs on a list here but I noticed that there were no songs from the Southern hemisphere. I know of many songs like Reggeaton that have awesome rythm and bass. I purchased an AQ2200D from Audioque on 3/1/11. I received it on 5/3/11, which is o.k. because they told me there was a wait when I ordered (well, after I ordered. They said I could either get my money back or just wait; I chose to wait). When the time came to put the amp in the truck, it didn't work. No, it wasn't set to slave We called AQ and tried all troubleshooting options to no avail. Just to be sure wiring was correct, we threw my brother's Hifonics Brutus in place of the 2200D and it worked perfectly. This told me there was, in fact, a problem with the amp. So I did the logical thing and shipped it back to AQ, expecting to get my amp repaired or be sent a new one…

What is the cheapest route to get 150dB at 25Hz? Two hardcore 15's and two SAZ amps, one HO alt and 10 batteries? Small vehicle walled or CRX subs up port back? How much would it all cost? Fiberglass, MDF, 2x4's, all thread, sound deadener, decent looking/running vehicle.

Well i bought a hk4000d and have heard they are current hogs... im going to be running it at 2 ohms to a 18" BL... probably around 1600 watts (or whatever is safe to run to a BL). I have a stock 130A alternator, and a run of 1/0 to my amp... ill be doing the big 3 soon. What type of electrical upgrades do i need? A HO alternator is out of the question because apparantly toyota used some special design for my truck (06 tundra) and the cheapest ive found is a 175A for 600

As the topic says, what is required to be an sq system? I ask because I only have experience with daily driver/ loud and low systems. I know that sq is about recreating a studio quality musical picture. I think that may be how I would like to go in my next car. If I get the car I'm leaning towards( Hyundai genesis coupe) I will keep the factory head unit and probably start with some sort of equipment like a clean sweep , etc. it may be 2-3 years til I get a new car, but I am interested in sq a little, not necessarily for competing, but just for listening pleasure

Ok, so I have a dual 1 Fi BL 15'' in a ported box tuned @ 34 hz. Running it off of a kicker zx1500.1 w/ the gain set a little over half. And a cheap sony deck. I have been running it for about 3 or 4 weeks now and its sounded great! but last night when i turned it on, i was bumpin through town, and it was hitting good, and then i turned it down to say something to my friend, and when i turned it back up, it hit about once and then just stopped...no smoke, no burning nothing. just stopped. i figured one of my connections came out, but i checked all of em and they're good. My amp is still good and all my fuses are good. but it still won't hit! i even took it out of the box …

Heres my status. I just sold the kove armageddon and the planet audio tt2250D that I had sitting around. I am in the process of selling my Planet Audio VX3002, and I will be ordering my Orion 2500D tomorrow. Once I sell the PA, I will order my 400.4. I also have some wheels on ebay so I can have some money to spend for christmas shopping. I am also about to buy a pair of EQT's for $115. Finals this week too. Fun stuff. So Ive been thinking about it and seems like it would be fun. I know nothing about running in comps and would like a little info on how. I know there is a ton of different classes to be in but I dont have a clue about them. Do they go by how much power you run, how many and how big your subs are, or if you have a wall or somethin? I always see these posts about going to shows and you guys make it sound fun. Id appreciate it if I could get a little rundown on what might be best for me with the stuff in my sig. so, as the title says, my friend has 2 12" Memphis PR's with a 500watt RMS PR amp. in a ProBass ported box.... it is a used system. but he hardly even bumps it. so it hasnt been abused. this will be my tempoary setup untill i get money for a bigger sub and amp. i kno he paid around $100 per sub. $299 for amp. and $150ish maybe $200 for the box. soo, (in your your opinion) what would the... -average price be? -and a really good price be? thanks alot in advance. -jonathan
