i am currently running a sae-1200dv2 and i have the big three done in my 02 grand prix gtp... i am getting 2 sa-12s and i plan to be getting the sax.100.4 also. i was woundering if the Shuriken SK-BT120 battery will be big enough to run both amps or shuld i just run the 100.4 off the yellow top under the hood?

Ok guys i need major help on a box design i am getting a SSA Xcon 15 and i am going to need to fit it into a single cab truck i talked to Aaron and he said the mounting depth of the sub is 8 and 3 4ths deep and my seats move separately so i can build a custom box. what do you guys think i should do. just push the passenger seat up a bit and run a box all the way across at a different depth so my seat could stay where it is what do you guys think i need some ideas please. Hey guys, Heres my problem: My system isn't loud enough for me anymore. What I have: -12" Soundsplinter rlp -Planet Audio amp [does 650 into 2ohms(which is what I'm running my sub at)] -2.6 @ 34hrz box I think its a combination of my mildly weak amp, and not quite the right size box thats throwing me off, but then again, I could be wrong. What I'm considering doing is selling my RL-P 12" and the amp with the box for as much as I can, and with it purchasing a 15" sub (most likely another rl-p) and a 1400w amp and then building a new box. I'm also considering buying another 12", buying that same 1400w amp, and running 2 12"s. If I'm thrifty and get some good deals, I'm sure…

I've decided for my four door tahoe z71 2004 on going with a Pioneer AVH 4400, Was going to do the app radio but it only has 2 preouts. Along with that i am going to be getting a crescendo 5800bc amp, a total of four FI Bl series Subs (either 12 or 15 inches) with the cooling option, not sure on 1ohm or two ohm impedance. Along with that i will be building my own ported box tuned to 35 or 30 hz. For the tweeters i am just going to be running two crescendo ft1 and four pwx 6.5. Haven't chosen the amp on those. I do know i will need to upgrade my electrical system on my car. I'm just posting this for some feed back on what i could enhance or if 15 inch subs would be better …

This would be my first time getting an extra battery with a system and i have only a little knowledge on how to wire this. I am going to receive my AQ2200d and will be upgrading my stock alt to a 200A one and getting a yellowtop. So how am I supposed to wire all of this? Hey boys - I'm planning out a new system for my 03 F-150 Harley Davidson. The only 2 things set in stone are the JL Stealthbox - 12w3v3-4 which should take about 400watts rms. And the H/U (for now) is a Alpine 9886. I have the H/U but need to buy the JL - anybody have a good place to buy JL at less than retail? I'd like to run DLS UP6i speakers up front with a Sundown 125.2. They recommend 150watts RMS so I don't know if the Sundown will be sufficient for it. Thoughts? Do I need a seperate amp for the tweeters? For the sub I need something solid 400watts rms. Maybe the 125.2 bridged? What would be good rear fill? Only experienced info on this question please!

so im back, still trying to understand this whole audio thing lol. havnt had much time to look into it but i had an ohm question i thought i might be able to get a easy to understand answer of... basicly from what ive been reading and such, unless im mistaken which is why im asking here, a 1 ohm amp goes to a 2 ohm sub and a 2 ohm amp will go to a 4 ohm sub? and is there some sort of converter that allows you to go 1 ohm to converter to a 4 ohm sub? or have i just confused everyone and should keep reading lol?

I'm interested in this alarm. I have some feature questions, and DEI will not answer them on the phone due to "liability issues". They'll only speak to the shop owner. Well, my preferred shop owner basically contracts out a revolving alarm installer.. so neither of them are fimiliar with this alarms capabilites. I'm shocked that DEI cannot answer simple feature questions on their own product. I'm not asking what wires to cut, I just want to know what it can do basically. I want to know if the 7900 can start via a time. The computstar alarm, allows you to have the car start by time, temp, or voltage. Does the 7900 do this? alright alright... i posted all my optimas for sale here localy here lastnight while i was drunk... i woke up and my email was full of people who want them.... so ill have some funds for new ones.... i have a friend here in town that has 4 optima yellow d 31a's... they are the largest... a normal yellow top like i have now is 55 amp hours.. these d31's are 75... 300 amp hours with 4 or just pick up two new dekas.... 100 amp hours each... so 200 amp hours ...... i have about 250 amp hours as it is now.

I only have a 60 amp alt. and i was wonder if it's okay to put a second battery in the back of my car like a kinetik hc 1800, will it be able to charge my stock battery and the second bigger battery in the back? i'm just running 1000w rms. i'm thinking of a second battery because i'm planning to get a new car next year, so a second battery will be easier to transfer to the new car, then a bigger alt.

of course i have 2 8ohm speakers that are less then 150 watts... and i need to run them 4 ohm stereo on the amp, i remember seeing somthing befor that you run inline to propose a ohm load to the amp, so im guessing i will need, two 4 ohm dummy loads,=4 ohm at the amp, or two 6 ohm dummy loads =2 ohms at the amp i can run this amp at 4 ohm stereo or 2 ohm stereo,. i have seen a few things on parts express... but not too sure what exacty i need... so someone that has used these be for would be great! thanks

Hi I was in my friends ride yesterday and heard a problem ive never read about When he turns his radio on, there is a static noise very similar to one you might hear from white static on a tv This noise starts before the music does and continues throughout music play Besides the annoying sound in the background, the music sounds fine Dude told me he just got a new radio cause he was hooking an amp up in the back and his headunit started smoking I could not figure that 1 out either, maybe he hooked the remote from the old radio 2 the batt and ground at the same time?
