I've been wanting to try id horn for the longest. Purchase a set months ago they were DOA because of packaging and shipper that was F.... Up. So I decide to contact eric Stevens and order a set and purchase the selenium d2500ti drivers. I read on line that I'll need an adapter ( adf25 1in) I think I was good to go yea right not at all aggravated! Can any one tell how to mount the three hole driver to the id mini horns thanks in advance.

if i have a sub box that has a rating of 40hz will the subwoofer still sound good and play low notes if the subwoofer is rated at 33hz or will i have to have the same rated hz on the box as well as the sub to make it sound correctly Thanks for any responses,

ok i have the sundown NS-1 .... i have wanted a bigger amp... and well a friend is selling an AB 1100.1 12v black PCB amp.... for 1500 ... thats a steal, and i think im going to puss the trigger, of course ill need alot more sub to put it on.. but that can come later... so .. quick.. yes or no.. and any reasons you have NOT TO ... thanks;/

Well I ordered all my wiring last week when I ordered my amps and forgot to order the RCA's any one have any good recommendations of are they all pretty much the same

So I found out today that the version of WinIsd I had been using became obsolete ages ago Trying to model a JL Audio 15w0v3 and I'm skeptical of the cone excursion graph it's showing. Considering I modeled the thing in a 15 ft3 box tuned to 15hz I was expected cone excursion to at least get higher than 1.5mm on 500 watts. I feel like I've done something wrong but for the life of me I can't figure it out! I'm confident all the driver parameters I entered were correct.. Any insight as to what foolish thing I'm doing wrong? Thanks!

I think that this is real chitty but there is now a law that states that if you car is heard from a distance of 75 feet, your car can be impounded on the first time!! I have a 99 toyota camry with 2 fi q 12s on a saz 3500v2 I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with camry. I have my subs & port firing to the rear & it is not bad but I was wondering if anyone has had the subs firing forward & port to the side & how it did vs. sub & port to rear. I am having a slot port built right now just wondering if anyone had gain or improvement doing this in a gen 4 camry. ive got one Fi SSD15 on about 1200 rms in a ported box at 37 hz in the turnk of my 525i. i saw some alpine subs on sale online, the new Type-E's for real cheap, I was thinking about buying those 4 12s, or 3 JL audio 13 inch W1s, and sealing them up in a box. what do you think the overall difference in soudn would be? i'm assuming a louder (more surface area, same power) and cleaner (sealed) sound?

As you have probably heard, some people say that too little power can blow speakers. Well... How can I say this... BS!!!! Too little power will only cause the maximum output level to be low. Abuse and the defective 'wing nut' (an idiot) connected to the volume control blow speakers with low powered amplifiers. Hey everyone, I recently purchased a 1976 BMW 2002 and I would like to outfit it with a nice system. The car itself is a little restricting due to the amount of noise it makes and its size. My main question is about power consumption. Right now the car has the stock alternator in which produces either 35a or 45a, I'm not sure which. How much amperage would I need to run a little 10" sub such as the SA-10 and a set of front speakers run off of an amp? The mounting location accepts what appears to be a 4" speaker. I would also like to get some opinions on a real good set of 4" speakers for lets say around $200, a little more wouldn't kill me but I'd like to keep it relative…

So I sold my system and vehicle about 2.5 years ago for a Infiniti G37S Sedan with the factory Bose system. It's been holding well, but I got the urge for some bass recently. I know what i want to do, just not sure on equipment. Amp will be integrated with stock system using Bose amp inputs in the trunk. The factory IB 10" will be removed from the rear deck. I will build a box for the trunk, ~1.25-1.5cubes @33Hz. Electrical will stay factory, 4Ga wire. I am not trying to spend too much here, maybe $225-$275 for a decent 10" and amp. We'll with only one week until the parade my sister has asked me to figure out a way for them to play music for their float In the parade. My main problem is the truck towing the float isn't mine, so I can't take apart, change or modify anything on the vehicle. Second problem is this needs to be done for as close to free as possible. First thought is a power inverter to power one of their boom boxes and just bungy cord it all to the bed of the truck. Issue here is the power inverters with enough current aren't cheap, hard to source locally and I'm not a big fan of having to directly wire it to the truck's battery.
