Anybody know how many amps a stock alternator puts out on a ford contour gl 96?

Hi, I drive a 2007 Ford Fusion and I am having some trouble finding a better alternator, could anyone give me a few places I could look that might have one for me? I plan on running a 18" Fi BTL with Kicker ZX2500.1 and maybe 2 batts. Also about what size alternator should I be looking at? Thanks for any input

Ok so I understand what an RTA is and all that jazz. I googled for an RTA program to purchase and came up with a lot of sites that sell programs. My question is, what's some good programs you guys have used/had experience with that you could recommend me. Or are they pretty much all the same with few minor tweaks here and there.

I saw lots of songs on a list here but I noticed that there were no songs from the Southern hemisphere. I know of many songs like Reggeaton that have awesome rythm and bass. Well i can hear the Bl is reeking havoc on my box when it hits the low notes i can hear an air leak even with a monster port. Thing is id like to be able to have to option to move from one 15bl too two down the road. Question is do i build 2 separate boxes and just leave one out for now or do i make say a 8+cuft box and run one in it for now. I don't think that would work considering the port area would be to large for just the one sub right? Anyways i got a 21.5xin40inx26in (HxWxD) space to work with and i can barley manage it but i can get two 21x20x26 boxes with 4.01cuft after displacement and tuned to 32hz in there. what do you guys think i should do?

I built the box that my current sub is in now, which it looks decent and sounds good. I have a 12" SSA Icon in it, I believe its a 2.3 cu. @ 33hz. For me to build the enclosure it costed me around $90 with all the materials. I have an 12" RD Alpha V.2 and an extra SSA Icon just sitting in my basement. I only have a 60 amp alt. and i was wonder if it's okay to put a second battery in the back of my car like a kinetik hc 1800, will it be able to charge my stock battery and the second bigger battery in the back? i'm just running 1000w rms. i'm thinking of a second battery because i'm planning to get a new car next year, so a second battery will be easier to transfer to the new car, then a bigger alt.

so im back, still trying to understand this whole audio thing lol. havnt had much time to look into it but i had an ohm question i thought i might be able to get a easy to understand answer of... basicly from what ive been reading and such, unless im mistaken which is why im asking here, a 1 ohm amp goes to a 2 ohm sub and a 2 ohm amp will go to a 4 ohm sub? and is there some sort of converter that allows you to go 1 ohm to converter to a 4 ohm sub? or have i just confused everyone and should keep reading lol?

I found an ad on KSL for a box build that said he could build me a custom ported box for $250, when I know if I can get help from you guys that I could build it for less than half that, plus he said that "You should probably go with two 10" subs since the 12" subs have a harder time keeping up" which made me really want to do my own box and not this joker. I have a 1985 chevy el camino. I am contemplating on what to put in it for subs. the measurements I have for room are 20 wide x 10 high x 18 roughly deep and I can put one of these boxes on each side of the tranny hump. So i am stuck between a 8"and 10" sub for each side. I really liked my uncles 12w7 in a 2.25cube box tuned to 32 with a jl1000. I have a Rockford Fosgate t10001bd amp. I have put a 140 amp altenator in my car my stock one was 58amps. So my amp power should be good. What is a good pair of 8s or 10s that will fit in the space that I have ported that will hit like my uncles 12w7.

Im looking to run a extra battery (XS Power D3100) to the back of my truck. Then run a Autotek 4000.1 from it. Should i run 2 1/0 cables from the starter battery to D3100 battery or will 1 be enough to fully support everything.
