I have been running Powerbass subs for a little over a year now and I would have to say that they are the best sounding and hardest hitting subs I have ever used. At fisrt I was running 2 ES10d's in 1.5ft3 per chamber ported in a single cab 98 f150. Pushing 1100 watts through them with a Memphis MC1000D. Hit a respectable 141.7. Sold the 10's to my old man and bought 2 ES12Dv.2's. 2.1ft3 ported per sub in the same truck with the same amp and they drop like its hot. Can't wait to get it mic'd again. Hoping to get over 146 with them. Oh and the Evolution Coaxials and components sound great 2. 5.25 components up front, 6.5 coaxials out back with a Memphis 2004 four channel. …

well im getting ready to purchase all my front stage equipment, SLS-8's and probably CDT gold 4" 2ways. the question is, if i decide to go with raw drivers for mids and high like the Auras or Seas, which are about all 8ohm, whats the best way to get some decent power to them? i understand that 100watts to these is about sufficient, but i know of competitors pushing 800watts to each driver! so whats your front stage/amp setup? and any reccomendations would be wonderful

Ok i ve been out of car audio , and i know how much stuff changes. I want to buy some subs to run at 2 ohm's to the kicker zx750.1d . I really want to run all kicker . I also would like to keep it under 200 bucks . I do have a cadence amp that will do 1 ohm 600 rms which match the subs i have now,(alpine type rs d4s). But i think that the kicker amp with a set of kicker subs would hit harder . I have posted alot about this, so i nail it down to get some kicker subs , or keep my cadence and run it at 1 ohm to my alpines . I recently purchased a btl 18 and a sundown 2000d which i guess puts out around 2500wrms. The problem is instead of going though a bunch of different enlosures to just ask the pros. I was personally thinking of walling off the front from the trunk. car is a 2000 coupe cavalier and theres a sound comp soon and would like some tips so any comments are appreciated. Im kinda a newbie when it comes to larger setups like this.

ok so i have been using nero forever now and im just really getting tired of how slow and long it takes to burn a music video dvd. my dvd player can only play mpeg too. so my questioin is what is a good way to burn music video dvds. thanks.

upgraded to 2 sa12's, 800 watts each. and im not noticing a big big difference in loudness. it shakes everything alot more, and i know im getting more bass. i thought that adding another sub and giving it 300 more rms would be alot louder. when the volume is at 20, i dont notice a difference, but when its at 22 my subs go insane. but my music gets crazy loud too, i was hoping that my subs would overpower the lyrics and music, so i would get nice bass without having absurdly loud singing and whatnot. im wondering if maybe my box isnt great. might sell it and get a jl basswedge for both subs, cause that would not only fit better.. but my single sa sounded great in that box…

Hey guys! If nobody knows the answer to this question, then no big deal... Ok, I have a Kenwood X-395 deck hooked up to a rockford prime 400-4 (via 4-chan RCA) and i was wondering if anyone has tested this deck on a DD-1 or o-scope and could tell me at what volume level it distorts. (By "it" i mean the deck itself, of course). By ear, i estimate it to be around 28 to 30 (the range is 0-35). I dont have access to either tool so i'll just stick with my ear if nobody knows, but if someone out there does know and could tell me that would be great! Thanks!
